I dont think Paul will do another new album for at least 4 years
No way! He's be 77 then!
I know... but he wont stop playing onstage

I remember McCartney once said that he seem more busy than he really is, because he is famous and always visible. Gossip columns writing about him all the time, even when he has vacation. One gets the impression that he works all the time. So there would be enough time to make an album, although he has occasional gigs worldwide.

I dont think it is a matter of enough time.

Why not? I believe "Electric Arguments" was made in thirteen days. It was a kind of project where he set out to write and record one song a day. Spread over a year maybe, but only thirteen days in the making. And hey, it's a masterpiece. Inspiration. It is perhaps more timeless than of a time.

There you go, talkin' like Lennon again.
-
Geez, the word "masterpiece" gets bandied around here like flying beer bottles at a Good Ol' Boys concert!

you've said it!

Whatever he decides, you can be sure there will be criticism... Sad to say You can't please everyone, so may as well please yourself!
-
Please yourself and you are rarely so alone that there aren't like-minded out there. Paul McCartney...

"New" certainly makes us want more "new" from him! Willie Nelson, for example, recently stated he's put out more new music in the last few years than in his entire previous career. Maybe the Mackster will also feel inspired to forge a happy medium between his perfectionism and honoring his creative drive, to foster additional original gems to fruition, get them "out there." In an interview Macca revealed he's sitting on a goldmine of unfinished songs to work on, that he called "fun for the future." Hope he meant "the near future" Perky pep tawk (not that he should need one!)

From his fans more so than the general public.
