I was going to order the Deluxe Version. Went all the way thru the login and inputting of information, up to the putting in of credit card information, and the site is not secure. HTTP, not HTTPS! Again, not encrypted, and your credit card information is in danger of being hijacked anywhere between your computer and their server. Looks like I won't be ordering on-line. Podgie, Was this through pm.com?

hant this man gathered enough of your money in his lifetime? for a hundred quid he should be personally signing every single super delux edition...its not as if he will sell more than a 10 k worldwide. added to his huge concert tickets rip off prices, lets just say im not playing the mccartney money game anymore...its a joke . in my lifetime ive bought everything only to see him turn his back on his solo fans big style with his karoke beatles money machine tour...even the premium membership on this site is looking like another poor investment. all paul mccartney wants is your money,he dosent give a hoot about his so called fans..any fans will do as long as they pay the dosh. very sad indeed! rant over
Sadly I think you're right! It's all money money money with our Macca...
geeez I kinda agree with Josh.... ops: ops: ops: Money Money Money

Similar to the fiasco with KOTB cd release and exclusives (at which store offered what)..is the two bonus songs exclusive to PM.com? Has there been any info on if Target, Walmart or Best Buy may have these bonus songs as downloads as well? Just like the majority of people on this forum - I'm an avid Beatles/McCartney fan. But having just bought a house and saving for a wedding; I think the Special 2-cd edition is going to have to be my compromise. And if I have to - I'll torrent the two bonus songs. Thrillington is the major reason to get the Deluxe but I can't justify a $99 SINGULAR album release. The DVD looks skimpy though I am curious on the 15 min. documentary. Note: I remember with the John Lennon Anthology box set came out - 94 unreleased songs for $50 back in 1998. It seems like the packaging is really jacking up the price. Because the box set for RAM just has $0.05 packaging sleeves for the cd's / dvd.

I wouldn't get to upset about the £12.oo from HMV, they wont let people pay as little as that, they have 2 weeks to change it and they will.
Being a total cynic I think this is a deliberate ploy by HMV to increase their sales. They know perfectly well the price is wrong but are banking on those placing orders for this 'bargain offer ' not to bother cancelling their order once the correct price is revealed.

Yeah, the PM.COM, Topspin, ordering is non-secure. Will they ever learn? Amazon is secure. I am inclinded to wait also, after the KOTB fiasco, which I wasn't happy with. Podgie (do you want the exclusive, or the exclusive exclusive version?) Monkey

So have I. They have advertised a product at a price, if they have made a mistake they will change it back, but they can't do anything about people that have pre-ordered it at that price. I'm sure of it.
It depends, hopefully they won't fight it though.
This is in the terms and conditions... HMV are entitled to withdraw from any contract in the case of obvious errors or inaccuracies regarding the goods appearing on our web site. If an error or inaccuracy is discovered with regards to the advertised price of the goods that you have ordered before the contract is made (see (b) above) we will contact you as soon as possible by email. They're bound to notice before it's released??? I'm pre ordering just in case.. heheehe

I only wish they could have continued what BOTR 2010 Remasater did. Release multiple versions but have a digipack version of the deluxe edition 3CD/1 DVD or maybe a 2CD (minus mono disc)/1DVD. That could easily be a $29.99 set right there.
-
I'll believe the HMV price when I see it but just thought I'd mention that the following code gets you 99p off - that's £12 for the Deluxe! Got to be worth a try at least. HM09-zRpce8175

I jumped on this hopefully they honor this..if it changes I'm going to have to cancel it.

I would love to be able to order the deluxe edition from HMV for £12, but unfortunately I can't. They will not ship anything to Brazil. That's why I can't get past the "checkout" screen. I guess I'll have to pay $90 to Amazon....

Have to agree though if they let it through it would explain their financial problems

I probably fail economics forever, but maybe all the people ordering it heavily discounted and giving their site hits is somehow helping them?

I'm getting skeptical on this HMV 12 pounds ($16) deluxe edition offer.

All you can do is wait and see! The longer it stays at that price the better. They can hardly claim it is a mistake seeing as its now been 5 days. And as I have said they sent me the BOTR deluxe edition for 13 pounds.
