Detroit, MI-Little Caesars Arena-Oct. 1st/2nd 2017-CONFIRMED
-
The arena has a special parking lot just for Uber/Lyft cars , so when you get out of the concert you aren't searching for that car . The car is waiting in the lot ,across the street.According to what I've read about parking there.

Call the hotel- I think they might have a shuttle to/from the venue.

Staying at Motor City Casino. Can you safely walk to concert from there ?
I'd worry more about walking back after the show. it'll probably be midnight
You may be better off with Uber/Lyft/etc. But perhaps Motor City may have shuttles. Motor City is owned by the Illiches (whom own the Wings).
that's good to know. We're taking an Uber and I was worried about finding it getting back home afterwards. I wonder where this parking lot is. I've got a customer from work sharing it with me. We both have tickets on the main floor and he didn't want to go alone One other piece of advice I was given was to book the return ride as soon as you book your ride there. the cabs get booked up

Everybody have a wonderful time tomorrow and Monday! Wish I could be there as well, but the timing was just not right to make the trip home this time around. I'll be on the lookout for some periscopes though!

Maybe the band will do "Hitch Hike" for the people of Detroit.

Approx 13 hours from now our 4 year old daughter will see a Beatle. She loves the pink ear protectors we bought her, I think part of her excitement is getting to wear those!! She has been singing "Love Me Do," "Eight Days A Week," "A Hard Days Night," and her favorite "Blackbird" all week long. I wish we could have got closer, maybe I would have made her a sign to hold: "Because of your help here I am!"

Does anyone know if the new arena will upgrade seats? I did it at the Palace without problems, just paid the difference. Thinking of doing that for my solo adventure on Monday .... meanwhile, I am getting antsy for tonight!

Well, I'm feeding the cat and then I'm off to meet the spouses and friends to head on down there. Just hoping for a good time and safely getting there and back again.

Have fun!

Before I eat a post show snack and go to bed and wake up at 6:15am to be able to leave work early for show #2: One thing stood out to me - Paul was in as fine as his voice can ever be at this age. He may have been better than he was in 2015 at Joe Louis Arena. A 4 to 5 day break does wonders to his voice. He did not falter at the beginning of Maybe I'm Amazed. On at 8:14pm off at 11:11pm. First show at the new arena really magnified the McCartney show experience. Back for a more in-depth experience after tomorrow's show.
