So which retailer has the best price on the deluxe version of "New"? I can't buy every single different version out there so I can have everything available. I'll just pick up the deluxe version. Looking forward to it though!

      Love,
      Chad

If you don't care about any of the exclusive stuff (DVD, cube, pics) WalMart is the cheapest at $14.88, but they are sold out online!

As personal rule, for reasons I would not like to discuss here in this forum, I never shop at WalMart. Today I broke that rule to get the deluxe version for a few bucks less. Sure, the cube and extra pics are probably pretty cool. When it comes down to it , though, I want the music. So I got the deluxe version for $14.98. By the way, it RULES!! I love it!!! It's different. The songs are (mostly) great. I'm only on my 2nd listen now. I'm sure it'll grow on me even more...

Do you avoid WalMart because you are one of those "WalMart Shoppers" who are always having their picture taken and plastered all over the internet? Just kidding! (glad you like the album--me too!) http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=walmart+shoppers+caught+on+camera&qpvt=walmart+shoppers+caught+on+camera&FORM=IGRE

Went to FYE. It was marked at $19.99 with a sticker over it for "On Sale: $17.99". Came with the cube. Pretty cool. First McCartney CD I've bought in a store in years. Been buying online, but I couldn't wait for this one...and I wanted the cube light! I believe the standard edition was on sale for $12.99.

Yeah, maybe I should've got the light cube. Sounds pretty cool. Does it have the 2 "bonus tracks"? What other packaging is inside?

Target has deluxe edition for $14.99, includes a DVD. Haven't seen the DVD yet, anybody know what's on it? Unfortunately all the deluxe copies at FYE were gone when I got there, I would have loved to have one of those cubes.

My local record shop had it for $11, new (no pun intended!). That's where I got it.

that's exactly my thinking as well. There are so many exclusives, didn't know what to buy or where to go, so I decided what I cared about the most was the music, so I went to Wal Mart (15.78, I think) and got the Delux Version.

The DVD is from Canadian TV, a show called A Rendevous With Paul McCartney and can be found on Youtube under that title. It's not bad and nice to have it on DVD, interview with Paul and clips from songs from the Out There tour--All Together Now, Mister Kite, etc. Nice excerpt of Mull of Kintyre with the Ottawa Police Pipe Band. Brief talks with band members which was nice to hear. I guess it lasts about 25 minutes. Worth having.

You can get the light cube with either edition of the CD. Only the deluxe has the bonus tracks. My FYE was sold out of the deluxe so I got the regular which I have yet to pick up. (he gave me the cube yesterday when I paid $5 down to pre-order) I assume the regular CD also has the booklet, but that's it. My son who works at Target brought home the Deluxe Exclusive w/2 bonus tracks and the DVD for me!
