THE NEXT DELUXE/REMASTERED ALBUM FROM PAUL

That list says all out by 2016? HA! I saw something more like 2028.
Well after September, we'll will have cleared the first 7 releases...so while 2016 looks grim, 'with a little luck', perhaps having them all prior to 2028 could be possible
-
We finally get a cleaned up, studio version of "Soily", 1 of my favorite Wings tune. Its worth it just to listen to that.

I am so psyched!!! Two of my all time favorite lp,s of the 70's are being released. Venus and Mars was a great rock n roll album from a great rock n roll band. At The Speed Of Sound was a great pop album from a great pop band. Thanks Wings!!

Ok, so "Venus & Mars" and "Wings At The Speed Of Sound" are coming. Great news!!! I always say that Speed Of Sound was a mistake. I mean, 1976, Wings in his best moment... they could do something better, something more "serious". More songs like Beware my love and less songs like Must do something about it or Cook of the house. Band on the run is amazing, V&M is amazing too, and finally, when they reach their biggest level of chemistry and understanding, they decide to do a soft rock/balad-rock LP. It has beautiful songs, like Silly love songs, Beware my love and San Ferry anne, but it seems more like a collection of good songs mixed with irrelevant music.
Good point !!! It wouldn`t bother me if there weren`t rumours that the series will be wrapped up wit Tug/Peace next. As you can see from the tracklisting SOS simply doesn`t have much potential for deluxe treatment : bonus cd mostly features demo versions of album tracks. It would be sad if they skipped RRS, London Town and BTTE : all of those albums have plenty of outtakes and unreleased tracks. Also London Town and BTTE certainly are better albums than SOS. So what I´m really curious about is the little flyer in the new releases announcing what`s coming next in the Archive Col.
I think exactly like you my friend. SOS doesn't have any excluded work that could make a better LP, but we're talking about Macca and he always knows how to surprise us. I heard that the new SOS will include a versión of Beware My Love with Bonzo in the drums... not bad!!! but.. what else? the studio version of Soily is a good new too, but nothing compares with the adrenaline of hearing the live version of Soily from WOA. London Town is an amazing disc, I love it, I love the keyboards. Don't Let It Bring You Down is one of the most underrated songs of Paul, and LT has a better level of composition than SOS... a higher level of music in every song. About RRS, a reedition has more sense. There's a song called 1881, they used to play it in their college tour before Wild Life... incredible song!!! it should be included in a new version of RRS. But I think Paul doesn't like it, he said that he wrote that song in a dark moment of his life. If he's going to make a reedition of BTTE, I hope new material from his work with Rockestra Band

____________________________________________________ Couldn't agree me. I also am looking forward to having an audio version of Baby Face from One Hand Claping. I just hope it is the full, uninterrupted version. They show Paul singing "Babyface" on the One Hand Clapping DVD (from the Band on the Run Reissue I believe) but towards the end of the song, the DVD commentary comes in well before the end of the song. The Band of the Run Bonus Audio did not include Babyface in its tracks list. I hope we get it now on the Venus and Mars Reissue. I think Paul's voice sound great on this old standard.

This list has been circulating for a while...but I think it`s fake. There`s no way Wide Prairie or Ecce cor meum will be remastered and reissued. Let`s face it : There probably won`t be further super deluxe editions except for Tug of War. BUT : They sure can continue releasing remastered editions with bonus discs (what used to be called deluxe editions when the series started) of all those beloved albums like London Town, BTTE, RRS, Wild Life. I think that is the realistic outlook.

^^Yeah...it's been around since 2011 as I said.

Can no longer pre order on Amazon.ca
Amazon.ca has them back up again, but now at the same price as the U.S.
But now pictured without the book!
The picture should be back up soon. I cannot believe they were available for $50 USD on there for a day. Incredible deal and beyond worth it.

I want Wild Life, London Town and Back To The Egg!!!! And I want Flaming Pie too -my preferred album after Wings break up-, but I have some songs that were not included in the original tracklist -Love Come Tumbling Down, Broomstick-, maybe they are B-sides from some single but they are not great songs.

I commented a couple of years ago that the key phrase is "with hopes," which means this is mostly B.S. Remember the 4-CD boxed set of unreleased songs from 2010?

I wish we could get a full, clear, soundboard release of a '72 or '79 Wings concert. Hopefully if BTTE gets a release, we will get the live cuts, too.

I think if we get a BTTE release, the most likely live cut stuff will be from the Kampuchea show.

Did Wings play anything besides Rockestra at the Kampuchea show? I know other shows (including Glasgow, which is the source behind the 'Last Flight' bootleg) are rife with BTTE numbers...But unless the compilation set from Kampuchea only included a small portion of a larger Wings set (which would be news to me), then they'd have to look at other shows from the 1979 tour to dig for BTTE songs
