THE NEXT DELUXE/REMASTERED ALBUM FROM PAUL

MetalGod:
Thanks for the Canada Amazon heads up! I saved about 20 bucks per order enough though shipping went from free to $11. (Even though I'm just across the river from Canada). Went from $160 to $121.
DITTO...just ordered the deluxe versions of each from Amazon Canada...great savings on the pre-order! Really looking forward to these releases!

MetalGod:
1 Canadian Dollar equals 0.93 US Dollar So the $54 CAN box set is actually $50 US. Damn straight I'm going to save $29.98 per set.
Unfortunately, they have already been removed at that price.

What about the prices at Amazon Canada? http://www.amazon.ca/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Dpopular&field-keywords=paul+mccartney+venus+%26+mars+deluxe
YAY! I was able to get them at that price.

I'm not seeing these listed, but it sounds like a positive sign. However, this could be an expensive fall for Beatle people, if these come out plus George's Apple Box plus the Beatles DVD video collection plus a possible Anthology Blu-ray re-release. !!!
Where are you getting this info on a DVD video collection and the Anthology? Links Please!
Sorry, no links, these have just been bandied about for months. Can't remember, but I had the impression they were pretty reliable sources.

What is George's Apple Box? Anyone care to share a link?
Here's a link for that: http://wogew.blogspot.com/2014/07/george-harrison-apple-years.html

Ok, so "Venus & Mars" and "Wings At The Speed Of Sound" are coming. Great news!!! I always say that Speed Of Sound was a mistake. I mean, 1976, Wings in his best moment... they could do something better, something more "serious". More songs like Beware my love and less songs like Must do something about it or Cook of the house. Band on the run is amazing, V&M is amazing too, and finally, when they reach their biggest level of chemistry and understanding, they decide to do a soft rock/balad-rock LP. It has beautiful songs, like Silly love songs, Beware my love and San Ferry anne, but it seems more like a collection of good songs mixed with irrelevant music.

Can no longer pre order on Amazon.ca

Good point !!! It wouldn`t bother me if there weren`t rumours that the series will be wrapped up wit Tug/Peace next. As you can see from the tracklisting SOS simply doesn`t have much potential for deluxe treatment : bonus cd mostly features demo versions of album tracks. It would be sad if they skipped RRS, London Town and BTTE : all of those albums have plenty of outtakes and unreleased tracks. Also London Town and BTTE certainly are better albums than SOS. So what I´m really curious about is the little flyer in the new releases announcing what`s coming next in the Archive Col.

My gut feeling is they will have Red Rose Speedway and Back to the Egg as the next two sets for 2015.

I'll definitely wait and let my family pick these up for Christmas!

Those would be the best choices, I agree, but the rumors, as Frank mentions, have been "Tug Of War" / "Pipes Of Peace." I notice that these two new sets have slimmed down to pre-"RAM" size. Smart move, if they want to sell a lot of them.

I think they just know that these albums are not as popular as RAM is. RAM is a fan favorite so they went all out on it for the fans and there was a lot of stuff to include in that set. And Wings Over America is a live record that is popular and has hits as well as some Beatle tracks. They also knew they had to go all out on that one. These albums...not too much. They knew they had to slim down in order to sell. I am still beyond excited for these. I'm looking forward to Wild Life and Red Rose the most out of the ones yet to be released.

^^^I hope I live long enough for the #13 release
-
Also, if/when they get down to the Tripping the Live Fantastic release, I hope they ditch the soundcheck songs interwoven between live cuts and nestle them somewhere nicely at the end of the set (and I wonder what the third disk could contain...I know there were some 'Tripping' b-sides, but not enough to make up an entire new CD

That list says all out by 2016? HA! I saw something more like 2028.
