I can especially hear the difference at the end. Pretty rich.

My buddy from radio got his deluxe sets today and confirmed that the "coming soon" card does in fact say Flowers in the Dirt!

So then when will the soundtrack for "Give My Regards To Broad Street" see the light of day? I thought I'd save for the delux version, because the film could be re-released. It's not on region 2 or region 0 or other regions aside from region 1. Flowers and Flaming Pie? I don't think I'm going to bother with new editions.

Thanks Bob. While I'm surprised that the next Remaster after Tug and Pipes is Flowers in the Dirt, I'm certainly not disappointed. If you remember when this Remaster Series started with Band on the Run, he then bumped up the chronological order to McCartney 2 (a companion piece to his first solo album McCartney). Looking back at that early move, I guess I'm not shocked he jumps to the latter 80's from the early 80's. In a way I'm glad he is getting into his true Solo career phase with these Remaster packages. As someone pointed out the original Flowers was released about 26 years ago. It is not like the original Flowers is only 10 years ago. I just hope that we're talking Fall of 2016 for this release. I would think that the Bonus Audio CD could potentially have some great "finished" tracks. Not only did this album represent a comeback in song craft quality for Paul (and working with Elvis Costello) but I believe it was a time where Paul was unsure of his next move. For his standards, Press to Play and Broad Street were not successes. Consequently, he was simultaneously working on a few side projects which never saw the light of day (Pepperland and the Phil Ramone sessions) so some of these really good songs could potentially be on the Bonus Audio Edition. Any thoughts here!! I also hope that Paul does go back to the 70's in 2017 with Egg and Londontown. Lots of great stuff during that time period as well. If he has a new package every Fall, I would be one happy camper.

I got an email yesterday that the delivery of Tug and Pipes releases would be delayed a week. Not sure if anyone else has had that.

Where did you order them from? I haven't gotten a notice one way or another. I ordered from BullMoose.

I ordered from our most reputable "record"/hi fi/entertainment store in the country. Not Amazon or anything, cos that would take even longer to get that sent. Back in the day, I used to rock up to the store a day before official release and they''d slip me the release (even when they weren't meant to). They are really reputable, so was surprised to get the email. Either a distribution problem here or a genuine delay. Most likely the former. Oh well, they don't charge any freight, so if worse comes to worse.... I'll just have to listen to the originals!

Its funny how in that first interview Paul had totally forgotten about working with George Martin on the Ram album? ....... and in the second interview as well !!!

My understanding is that Martin simply sent Paul some orchestral scores for several of the RAM tracks, as per Paul's request and instructions (he already had the parts worked out). So they didn't really work 'together' in the same was as on Live and let die.

Just saw the "collaborations" video that is now on the Website. It was very well done. I thought is was interesting how much Paul really emphasized that it was Michael Jackson that called him to work together. As Paul mentioned, it was the exact opposite with all the collaborations from Tug of War where Paul phoned the likes of Stanley Clark, Steve Gadd, Stevie Wonder, Carl Perkins etc. to play on the album.

Good point, and yes, I thought this video was good, too. I suppose it's not part of the content on the actual Archive sets, then?

I usually buy the Paul Remasters at one of the big box retailers. I usually buy them on the first or second day and they offer great special deals. Has anything been mentioned about what Tug of War and Pipes of Peace packages Best Buy or Target are offering? Any dates that they will be in the stores. thanks

_______________________________________________________ Thanks oobu24. I thought I heard on Andre Gardner's Breakfast with the Beatles Show this morning that Tug of War and Pipes of Peace will be available to buy this Tuesday (Sept. 29). Not sure if this date is correct and if he was talking about Best Buy. If anyone knows about the September 29 date, let us know. thanks
