Hell yeah! Really looking forward to hearing this one...thanks for getting us through the turbulent part of the setlist!!!
-
Still no Hope...think it's fair to say it's gone!
-
So far exact same set as Orlando May 19?

Sadly, I think you are right. Paul must've felt the crowd response wasn't good enough in Orlando...such a shame.
-
I really thought the crowd was getting into it. I definitely didn't notice anybody leaving the first 5 rows and thought the side sections were dancing along. I guess it must have only been the hard cores.
-
smoother vocals on here today. acoustics off, no memphis song as of yet...
-
thank you!!!
-
Big Barn Bed is great news! Can it get any better?
-
Any Memphis updates?
-
Did he not do Listen To What The Man Said?!?!?!?!?
-
WixRocks!:
I found soundcheck on facebook... Blue Suede Shoes Matchbox Whole Lotta Shakin Goin On Big Barn Bed Bluebird Things We said Today Highway Birthday Lady Madonna ...maybe we'll get a 50's cover and birthday tonight too??? Who knows! Pretty much any of those songs are potential, we'll just have to see!
-
sorry about the dropout. phone died. no memphis tribute or really anything different towards the end. best part was how strong vocals were on 2nd encore with Helter Skelter and Golden Slumbers. still - very intrigued by big barn bed!
-
Did he play listen to what the man said?

"Big Barn Bed".... I can barely form words right now.... All I can say is that I really, really, really hope this somehow makes it into the show!

He did "Listen To What The Man Said". Setlist was almost the same as second Orlando show, except with "Get Back" instead of " I Saw Her Standing There". Soundcheck was awesome! He played "Ram On", then played a complete "Big Barn Bed" on uke. Did "Blue Suede Shoes". Wix and Abe put on Elvis sunglasses and imitated him. When Paul went to the Magic Piano he started playing "Suicide", only the tune, no singing. Podgie (Memphis) Monkey : )

All I can say is that it was a GREAT show! I just can't believe this guy has such staying power! I mean, three hours straight!...Absolutely amazing! I'm so glad I went and I have absolutely no regrets going for the VIP package (gold - I wasn't there for the soundcheck; I'm sure "Big Barn Bed" must've been a gas!)

You could tell Paul enjoyed every minute of last night's show! Oh Channel 5 filmed a bit of the preshow meetup. I ended up on camera with my wife Cindy and our friend Janie Givens Miller. http://www.wmctv.com/story/22427954/fans-flock-to-fedexforum-for-paul-mccartney Paul and the guys put on a show Memphis wont see again till he returns!

Paul quotes: "I don't think we would've done it if not for Memphis."

OMG Big Barn Bed???? I would die. Red Rose Speedway is my favourite album. I will hold out hope that this makes it to the concert setlist by Ottawa.
