"With just four weeks to go until launch Paul is going to be very busy getting out and playing some of the NEW album for people to hear. He's currently with the band rehearsing up the new stuff." Cue intimate promo showcases full of industry insiders and fans missing out because of the 1 day advance notice.
Yup! :
Maybe they will tease us with some little video clips.

Along with a few other goodies...(like the reproductions of the sheep pics)like pics of all the "new" entries from twitter & (stealing this line from a friend>) all encased in an embossed stainless steel hinged box that weighs 87 pounds and costs $200 plus $70 shipping.

I have read on another thread that "Uncle Albert" was rehearsed yesterday. Maybe it will be performed in Japan?

What's the source?

I'll bet that it's just a rumor. However, if it's true, Paul could sing it well. That track featured Paul's falsetto voice quite a bit, a skill Paul still has to this day.

"A journalist who correctly predicted Paul McCartney's tour of Brazil in 2013 reported on a South American website Sept. 29 he'll be back there again for another concert in 2014." Loooool, let the daily update begin! http://www.examiner.com/article/paul-mccartney-heading-back-to-brazil-for-world-cup-show-2014

Looks like the Brazil rumour has been nixed... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-24388317

Wow, very self-reflecting too for a chance: "I love it and I'm very flattered, but you can't just be the guy on all of them. It's going to get boring for the audience 'oh no not him again here we go again na na na na, nananana'".
-
Could this, perhaps, be the end of the Hey-Jude-O-Grams era?

Paul`s alot more self-aware than he`s given credit.I imagine he`s been stung by all the mocking as well.

I seriously doubt it.

So far a lot of media promotion for NEW. That's cool! But as the release date nears, nothing on any concert dates to promote it. I am starting to wonder if in this NEW era, McCartney will only do tv, internet, and "special" events to promote a new CD, and then tour playing old hits to make big bucks.

I think an uncomfortable truth for us lot is this, the big bucks while touring IS the greatest hits package no doubt a song or two will find its way into the set but for the most part people who go to Paul's shows want to see the golden years stuff now rather than a tour chock full of the new album.

Paul has consistently included two or three songs from any new album release in his tour set. We've seen three songs have been worked up for the promotional activity and it's likely they will remain the "New" tour songs when he does return to touring in Japan. It takes a lot to work up a live performance of any song esp when video content and lighting set is added to the mix. Even this early, the other album tracks may be marked down as non-starters for live performances. It's most unlikely we'll see a "whole album" performance in the manner we did with Kisses On The Bottom - there the arrangements were most likely the work of Diana Krall and her regulars and Paul just had the role of singer - possibly even with a lyric prompter off screen. Much less demanding than performing an original album of his live while also playing instruments. Martin

Thats the point i was getting at Martin,he'll always include a song or two from a new album but the hope of a tour based solely round an album wont happen, and if im honest i dont think that format would suit Paul anyways,he is what he is a songwriter/singer par excellence why on earth limit it to a new album no matter how good it maybe.
