Paul McCartney 2013 Rumours
-
Yeah that's my only concern...he generally tanks vocally these days when he does under an hour. I think it's safe to say we'd get a single debut here. The cards are stacked in his favor!

He should recreate the University tour. Same venues, sets...crappy van
HAHAHAHAH!!!! #crappyvan In Tulsa, Paul told the story of driving through Oklahoma in 2008 with Nancy in an old Bronco that was "full of junk". He went on to say how horrible it was how much junk was in there (laughing). So he might not be too good to hop in a crappy van.

In fact, I actually own a crappy van; Paul can just have it. If Paul's interested someone from MPL hit me up. It's parked right outside on the street. I can meet Paul outside, show him how it starts, etc.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/music/music-news/10273050/Paul-McCartney-posts-New-single-online.html Sir Paul also admitted that he would like to perform live dates in the UK to promote the album. "We've only got planned out the Japanese dates at the moment and we haven't got anything planned after that... but I always like to finish the year in the UK. This is a new show so I'd love to show people ? I like to show off."

Well, I think that pretty much says there are NO Australia dates planned around Japan.
-
Seems that way.
-
That is crazy. There is no good reason that he cannot perform in Australia before or after Japan. I'm glad he's doing a UK tour this winter though...or something like that, I know nothing is confirmed yet!

Yes on the radio interview this morning he said he'd like to finish off the year with a UK show. I'd imagine somewhere between now and November if anything is announced.
-
I'd be surprised if there isnt some form of end of the year UK show with those words of his,but its Paul and his tour schedule is a law unto itself.

Sgt._Pepper:
He said a few! I'm expecting three for the festival. "New", a rocker, and a ballad...probably the first song discussed by name for these sessions..."Hosanna". Now he says everything's new...does that mean the whole setlist too???

Well, he is reading Shakespeare in Santa Monica! I wouldn't be surprised if the Stadium rumors that have been flying around come true! Enjoy!!!
-
Sgt._Pepper:
Encouraging interview!
-
California. YES!
-
I'm guessing the logical plan is to wait until the album is released and then annouce more dates quite soon after. I hope Macca is true to his word and will end up in the UK and hopefully some other European countries. Europe hasn't had a proper tour as such for Out There. Fingers and toes crossed.

"With just four weeks to go until launch Paul is going to be very busy getting out and playing some of the NEW album for people to hear. He's currently with the band rehearsing up the new stuff." Cue intimate promo showcases full of industry insiders and fans missing out because of the 1 day advance notice.
