Michelle my belle, you could tell me what thee papers say...

Is this going to be another free concert?

the drip-drip-drip way they announce these shows is really quite frustrating. I guess Paul's people think it is exciting and suspenseful to do it this way.

I hate it. But, it's really the rumors that make it the worst. If the rumors hadn't been out for the past two weeks, I wouldn't have worried the whole time and would've just found out about DC today and been excited for a day till tomorrow's announcement.

its like the more i wait, the more time i can save up (money) lol

Europe population: 739,165,030 America population: 313,914,040 Europe, an entire continent, gets just 3 shows. America, it sounds like, will be getting a lot more. How is this fair exactly? Who had Christmas shows just a few months ago instead of Europe? North America. I?m not saying Americans don?t deserve to see Paul, they do. I just think the order in which we?re seen is incredibly uneven and unfair. They should at least match the amount of European dates with the amount of US dates and make it even... purely out of fairness. Otherwise it suggests to fans over here that we're not as important. I don't think I'm going to bother looking/getting my hopes up anymore.
Agreed! I am lucky that the current EU shows are near where I live but I do know how you feel. It seems like that Paul prefers to play for American audiences and we European fans feel left out.

it's confirmed! it'll be Nationals Park on July 12th. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/going-out-guide/wp/2013/04/04/paul-mccartney-to-play-nationals-park-in-july/
-
The way this is playing out, it looks like there won't be any May shows in the USA.
-
NYC Paul fan:
A friend in Ottawa said she heard about a date, July 15, for Toronto. Not sure of her source.
So possible routing for July: July 9 - Boston July 12 - D.C. July 15- Toronto July 23 - Quebec We also have rumors that Boston won't be the first U.S. gig in July and Milwaukee is also rumored to be in July.
-
Folks sure can't complain on the East Coast! They are getting a THREE MONTH head's up for these shows.

So I am wrong. There will be dates in May in the USA! And an arena show to boot. Hmmmmm.....
-
Can't make the Austin gig. Congrats Austin! When's Memphis? Right before Bonnaroo? Wish I knew.

Yes! When was that rumoured Las Cruces date, it was around Memorial Day weekend, wasn't it? So that fits... BTW I was at the last Cruces show and it would be fun to go again, but not sure I can make it happen and it would be nice to know the rest of the schedule. :

Yes, plus I have a million other things I need to be doing instead of sitting here reading the boards and trolling the web for tour announcements!

Rumored date for Las Cruces is May 26. We shall see!! And yes, that Cruces concert in 93 was awesome!! Try and make it if Paul plays NM again!

Do you guys know if there's any pattern in terms of how long before a show the presale happens? Austin's show is on May 22nd and their presale is on April 9th, but Fenway already had their presale and their show isn't until July 9th. I basically want to know when I should be ready to drop a whole bunch of cash at the feet of Paul.

Marshall Arts just posted about the Austin show on Facebook...but they said the date was Saturday May 18 and said tickets go on sale Friday April 12th. Isn't that the rumored Orlando date? Interesting typo...

I never heard that date rumored for Orlando, but it would make sense routing wise: May 18 - Orlando May 22 - Austin May 26 - Las Cruses
