I know those two cities are rumored, but nothing has materialized as of yet.

me too, Now I am wondering if I should pick up Memphis, I have always wanted to visit Beale st and Graceland. I was at Elvis' last concert in Indy so I am a little bit of a fan. Then to top it off the memphis show is on my Birthday, what better way to treat yourself??

I did a little road trip from Chicago before the Paul show in St. Louis last year, and Memphis was one of those stops. Went to Graceland, partied on Beale Street, ate ribs at Rendezvous, it was a great time! I'd consider doing it again, but I just bought 3 nights of the Stones in Chicago, which was a small fortune!

You mean people are actually buying tickets for the Rolling Stones and not just Paul McCartney???

Paul, for goodness sake, PLEASE do other legs on this tour that are in other countries. Otherwise they're really taking the p*ss. :
As I said above, it looks like Paul is pretty much hitting cities in the USA he has already played before, in spite of the claim that the new tour would go to places he has never played. Not encouraging.
I agree with you. It was false advertising. They were advertising as a new, different, adventurous WORLD tour going to a variety of places.... but it's not like that very much at all. It's basically a 70% US tour. The rest of the world says hello, Paul. If you can see or hear us..??? Sharing is caring. And he ain't doing either.
How is it false advertising? For all anyone on here knows this tour will last a span of 3 years and he plays some places he never has played. Maybe he isn't playing your town (YET) folks but he is at least going to spots he hasn't been in a while. Hasn't been to Orlando since 93, Seattle it will be his first time since 05. Should he be playing Audtrallia? Yup Japan? Yup Denmark? Yup, but to say this was all a big lie I find really pre-mature. If he had announced that press release and then announced Mexico, NY and DC I'd say uhm that's weak but you look at the list and he is covering a large part of two continents(excluding the Euro shows) in a few months time.

I was lucky enough to get a pair of the $85 tickets for the Stones second night in Chicago. Two days after Paul on my birthday. Hope I get pit tickets.

He's playing Tulsa again when he just played there in 2009. That's hardly a historical place in the McCartney legacy. He's ALREADY doing a show in Tennessee and then books Memphis? Come on! Orlando? Well, how many times has be played in Miami and Tampa in the last ten years? And Austin sits comfortably in the center of Dallas-Ft. Worth, San Antonio, and Houston, cities he has played multiple times. SO FAR, the routing of this tour is not living up to its name.

I had no idea the $85 tickets were available until it was too late. Though, I did get a pair of them for the Oakland show in a few weeks.

Any word on NYC date verification? We're considering a Soundcheck Package in DC...or regular floor seats for DC AND maybe a trip to Memphis...the NYC dates being confirmed would be a nice decision maker though...

Uhh... This is Paul we're talking about I think June 8th and June 10th. That's what Wallie said, so...

He has also played AZ, Nevada, Cali, Texas...all close to New Mexico. I assume Austin is a feasible distance for you since you're traveling there with your band. If you want to travel there again to see Paul, you should! If you don't, that's your decision--but it doesn't mean Paul isn't playing near you. Paul hasn't played in Indiana since I was 12 (and I wasn't there). He MIGHT play Indianapolis now, which is thrilling! But if it doesn't happen, I'll go to Memphis, Milwaukee, somewhere else close. He's never going to set up a stage in my backyard and play a gig. I want to see him, so I travel. If you don't, that's up to you. I'm sorry if this sounds harsh, but compared to the past few this tour has a LOT of US shows, and it seems like instead of doing east coast, west coast they're really trying to spread out and cover more ground so people don't have to travel as far. I'm thankful!

Thankful for what? That I should have the "honor" to travel 700 miles to Austin to see a Paul McCartney concert? I don't share your enthusiasm. Or fan devotion. And to say Paul is playing "close" to where I live merely because my state shares a border with states where he is playing is just ridiculous. States here in the southwest are huge. So, yeah, my decision is I won't spend one penny or one second to go see a Paul McCartney concert that he is putting on for the local people in those cities where he is performing. Those people can line his pockets! But should he ever decide to play in Albuquerque, I'll be there!!
