Paul McCartney 2013 Rumours

Oh and fwiw, think it would be an absolute miracle for the Nets to still be alive in the playoffs come early June! Going by last year's timetable, that'd mean they'd be in the conference finals....not feeling that! I'll certainly be wishing them luck but that's an awfully big ask. I think those early June dates for Paul seem a pretty safe bet.
Probably true but, of course, any scheduling has to be premised on the scenario that all potential games will be played.
Fair point but can't imagine all these arenas stay dark for almost two months on the hope that their resident team make to the finals! That's leaving a whole lot of money on the table and could potentially scare off future bookings...they must have a little leeway within the playoff schedule window to provide for other events taking place. Just knowing it's a matter of which dates - vs. whether it's happening at all! - is a huge relief.

Whether or not he announces any California shows, Out There is turning into a Major McCartney tour! While I wouldn't count on San Diego, I hope he announces something in So Cal.

Does this rumour still make sense given that he is playing July 14th in Indianapolis and then Seattle on the 19th? Any thoughts?
Milwaukee will be filling in that gap with a July 16 show.

I just remembered that two of my dearest friends live a stone's throw from Milwaukee... and they are fans. Hmmm. I must do my duty and alert them if this happens.

Yes, someone posted it this morning. Getting nervous and excited for this! I'll bet someone has tried to steal the poster already, LOL.

You're right, and I thought I were sharing something new!

A friend of mine from Minneapolis just sent me a text: "My source says McCartney to play Target Field July 6th"

For anyone also going to Bonnaroo, I thought about the possibility of a soundcheck. Usually, the Friday night headliner or the act with the biggest production will do a soundcheck on Thursday. The two mainstages on Thursday are closed off leaving only small tent performances. Paul loves to soundcheck so it could happen that Thursday. In 2009, Phish played two nights in a headlining spot (Friday late night, Sunday full 2 sets.) They practically left their equipment up all weekend. They did a custom soundcheck on the Thursday and this is what we might find.

Barclays announcement probably tomorrow

Barclays announcement probably tomorrow
If they announce it tomorrow, any guesses on when it might actually go on pre-sale and sale to public?

Cool. How close do you think we can get? Can we get to a spot close enough to hear the soundcheck.

Have most of the presales been around the same time, 10:00? I sure hope not-- have something at work near that time that I can't get out of!!

Haven't the presales been on Tuesday, with general on Friday? It was last Tuesday I got tickets for DC, and the announcement was Monday, I think. If I'm able to get NY tickets, I will see him three times this tour!
