Paul McCartney 2013 Rumours

Wow...more US dates? There aren't that many areas of the country left he hasn't touched this year...fingers crossed for a rescheduling of New Mexico! If he is playing new songs from the new album I'd definitely want to go again, but I'm not traveling for the same show from July...not that's it bad! It just doesn't make sense for me right now! Really glad he's working on Australia and Europe...making everyone happy! Sounds like that album should be out in October to me!

He hasn't come to Atlanta on a proper tour (arena) since 2005!

Rumours through our lost friend 'etcetera': US dates in October, Japanese and Australian dates in November, European dates in December.
And a rest home through January if he kept up that pace
Bah-dah-bump!

If he does Atlanta, I'm there!

That's a dumb thing to say. He's proving every show that he has the energy of a 40 year old. He does a three hour show without a break!

Well, it would make sense to tour the US again if he's promoting the new album. Still, I find it hard to believe that he would tour four continents in three months. That's a crazy busy schedule compared to how he normally tours. Would his voice hold up? What about Beatrice?
Why not? He isn't playing these shows every night. Some of them are weeks in between. He knows his own pace, and it's not for us to say. He did not play SoCal on this tour, so maybe he'll make it back here.

Yup. Potentially 5 US shows in October (first time in years he would tour that month...), 7 shows or so in Japan and Australia in November and the usual 3 or 4 - sigh - gigs in Europe in December is hardly anything different than what he did in the last few years. If it's turns out to be a full-out tour, that would be different. But I think/hope he will do a few non-tour intimate venues as promotion for the album again.

How accurate has etcetera been with a scoop?

I am with you Wix on a New Mexico date! He skipped the Rocky Mountains and the Southwest USA, so October could see shows in Denver, Phoenix, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. We'll see.

How accurate has etcetera been with a scoop?
Hit and miss for me. A lot of educated guessing or telling about things after it has been rumoured already. The 'inside-inside' information he gave ("McCartney had vocal surgery", "McCartney has 100 songs in the can", "McCartney is working on a guitar concerto") we will never know what turned about to be truth. It's true that everything can chance, but that's also a safe excuse... Not saying that I will be surprised if he will tour that period of course.

who is etcetera?
The codename of a defector from MPL who had high security clearance with them. He is seeking asylum in Australia, a nation with sufficient grievances against Maccaland to grant the request.

Sounds like etcetera better have asylum somewhere. Who is still leaking information to this person?

Mmmm...etcetera sounds very much like Beatlefan magazine. Now when it comes to sources; that's not necessarily a bad thing.

If it turns out to be true, I wonder why so few shows in Europe, both in June and December?
