Hmmm... And I miss lasers... I always thought it was a really cool effect. And not too many acts have had them, since Pink Floyd's last tour in 1994. Maybe we'll get Soily!

LASERS! YES!!!!!!!!
Could we possibly see the return of...(dare I suggest?)..."Soily"?
-
The biggest plus I'm taking from these pictures is that the show is clearly an all new production for the first time since 2005, let's hope the setlist follows suit!
-
I like the lasers...and I'm thinking along the lines of "red lights, green lights...strawberry wine..." I don't like the platform. It's going to suck for fans on the floor. And I'm sure "Hope of Deliverance" will get sacked after SA.

Agree on the lasers, they're awesome! Jury is out on the platform, need to see how exactly that is going to work. No idea about HoD, I'd say it's unlikely to remain outside SA but we'll see.

Either we'll be too close during the show to see him on the platform, or too far back to see him off the platform during the show. :

sky high platform......
-
I guess Paul is trying to give some of the folks in the nosebleeds a better view being 50ft in the air on that platform. Makes sense considering the prices those fans end up paying for seats so far away. It will be interesting to see how much he uses it and how it works. I guess. Ill find out at the shows. Ive got lower level tickets at memphis and nosebleeds in Indy.

This is going to be Paul's best tour since he returned to the road in 2002!

Yes, it's not longer there. I guess those images were not meant to be seen!

at least i grabbed two of the shots before they pulled it.... those were really the only 2 pics that showed off the new stage, as a whole.... most of the others, were just closeups, etc

I hope so. For me, the 2005 US tour will be hard to top. He was promoting a very solid new album, with Chaos, and the shows had a great overall setlist.... of all the tours ive seen, it was the most "pure Paul"... If 'Out There' even comes close to the 2005 tour, i'll be a happy guy!

Very true, thank you for the pictures. It seems they were supposed to be seen only by the production team, which would explain why they were taken offline immediately after someone realized they were actually available to everybody. On the other hand, this could be a clever marketing strategy: showing us a few pictures of the new stage production (platform, lasers, etc) to create a buzz, then taking them offline to increase the anticipation... anyway, it has worked, and the fans are even more excited now!

I guess that proves that someone from the production team actually does read this site. I cant believe it got pulled that quickly. I just stumbled upon that site through a google search and viola there were rehearsal pictures. Glad most of you guys got to see it. It sure does add to the suspense of the new tour and quite frankly gets most of us super excited to see the show. Only a week left.
