Someone has posted 26 pictures of the rehearsals on Facebook.... watermarked, unfortunately. http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.246195238854406.1073741849.153013731505891&type=3

Considering that was MJ Kim's site am not surprised the photos got pulled. That platform makes me think the tour should be called "Up There" instead of Out There. I think it is going to be hard to see Paul on it from the front of the floor, so people in those seats are going to miss a song or two when he uses it.

We'll see how long this one stays up: http://osgarotosdeliverpool.blogspot.com/2013/04/revelada-plataforma-da-nova-turne-de_27.html

It looks that way. It seems Paul wants to give a better view of himself to those far from the stage, at least during a couple of songs.
-
With this setup, I kinda feel bad for those who paid $2,000 per ticket, for the Front Row package.... since those seats are typically front row, but off to the sides.... That leaves a HUGE gap between their seats and the stage, based on this setup.

I guess this is that special new platform thing that takes Paul closer to the audience: http://i43.tinypic.com/33ku4k4.jpg EDIT: Someone beat me to it! Mod Edit Post edited to remove unreleased image. Mod Edit (2nd) Post edited to return now officially released image.
As far as I know, Paul will do a few songs with the platform ON FLOOR first, meaning, closer to the ones in "front" rows, then, the platform will rise up for more songs, so, two ways Paul will use the platform.
-
My bet is "Blackbird" and "Here Today"...
-
All of this does look really great! Is that rising platform right in front of the stage? Or is it a ways out in the middle of the arena/stadium floor? I just wonder how this accomplishes getting Paul closer to the crowd. Having said that, maybe that is not even the intent of the rising platform. Maybe it is just to get him out in the middle of the arena, "levitating" above the crowd. Either way, looks pretty cool.

You can't take a little chart like this literally. I imagine there will fit as many seat close to the stage as possible. Wrapping around any platform.

This is my theory too.

You mean where were they. Paul's people should work for Homeland Security.

I can't see him being lifted up out in the opening and singing "Here Today", that one gets to him when he's safe in the warmth glowing glow of the stage. I'm thinking he'll walk onto the platform sing "Every Night" then, he'll start "Blackbird" and it'll fly (rise)... I hate to say it but, I think "Here Today" is gonna be dropped this time around.

I love this song live, it's just so heart-felt to me. But, I'm sure he'll come up with a new stunning tribute to John if he doesn't play this! And how can I complain...I've heard it live five times...a song that Paul said he'd NEVER do live back in the day!
