Hi Jarrett, I chose the gold package for one of last summer's Philly concerts. We were seated in the 8th row, directly in front of Brain - very good seats!!!

Triplets Love Paul, I'm always happy to hear you and the children are going to the concerts, that is great!! Do they still dress up? Tiggywinkle That's a good question on how many seats across there are in a row. I don't know. To help you with your other question, I called a lot of the concert halls for Paul's last US tour and as a rule of thumb (but not in all venues but most) I was told most of the time that the lower seat number would be next to the lower sections. Example row 1 seat 1 in section 102 would be closest to sec 101, the highest number seat in row 1 sec 102 would be closest to sec 103. I'm pretty sure that is how it worked on the floor in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and Nashville. Somebody on this board gave a similiar explanation for Paul's last US tour. Can anybody confirm this. When I called most of the concert halls the people were very helpful if you could get them on the phone. DrivinFan, Sheepboy Row 6 seems to be lucky for us! Anybody else in row 6?

Hi Anita, I'm thinking $650 is a bit much right now. The Silver Package at $450 doesn't seem bad, but the only seats coming up are all the way back in B2!

Whats anyones thoughts on section A2?? Is that gonna be good? It looks like its too far over, am I just gonna be in fron t of a screen??
I ended up choosing A2. I found nothing available when the pre-sale started in A 3 and nothing was offered in A4 or A5. I decided I would rather still be on the side of the stage on the field rather than the stands far away or in the B floor section which is still a ways back from the stage. I have never been to Yankee Stadium, but would imagine that the set up will be similar to Citifield and Fenway. At the ballparks, I prefer to be on the field as close as I can get as the tiered seats are so far away from the stage. If it were an arena, that is different as it tends to be much smaller and more compact. I think you can get "into it" more being on the field in the A Section seats. I could not spring for the Silver/Gold/or VIP packages so the A3 section is good enough for me and still cost $279.50 plus another $30 in fees and shipping. I need two seats for myself and hubby, so still a good chunk of change!! WORTH EVERY PENNY A1 and A7 would have a more limited view, IMO but I think A2 is fine. If there are video screens, the will be on the side, up high and not impacting your view if the setup is similar UP and COMING TOUR. Just my opinions but hope this helps!

Thanks!! I'm thinking I'll keep my eyes on sections A3-5 and B4-6. The Silver Package is do-able for me, so I might end up buying them if they come up in those sections.

I didn't hear about this until over an hour after the presale started, but did manage to snag an A4 row 15 - gold pkg. Is this par for the course? Last year the gold packages I got (3 of them - Nashville, Toronto, Philly) were all in rows 7 or 8. Did I get 15th because I was late or is there something different with this show or this year? (And does anyone know the width of that section - # seats)?

Just bought my tickets!! We'll be in sections 209 and 210 (I figured it would be better to be up a little, than all the way in the back of the floor). So excited!! Not sure if anyone else had the same problem, but my card was initially declined because trying to buy tickets from a UK vendor (CrowdSurge) set off the fraud alert. I had to call my credit card company and get the alert lifted. So if you're having trouble, that might be it!

I have an Amex, and I know they tend to have a very sensitive fraud alert system. I was able to get it taken care of very quickly, though.

Don't you just hate that, just when you need it least your bank wakes up and tries to protect you. Well done everybody, looks like the fan-club pre-sale came through for most of you. Thanks to Anita (Triplets Love Paul) for her timely interventions today. I love the buzz with a pre-sale opening on-line and love to share those moments with you all. Sadly work had to come first today. I see the pre-sale site is still offering some seats even now. More chances and hopefully more excited successful members over the next few days... Martin

I got Row 6! Like it was said, the Ticketmaster site did not come up for about 15 minutes, but once it did, tickets were readily available. VERY happy.!

So happy to learn that you were able to obtain tickets as well!!! You must be thrilled!!! The triplets would LOVE to dress for this concert, but with it being outdoors and the July heat factor, unfortunately I do not see them dressing for this one. I believe they have already decided on their custom Triplets Love Paul t-shirts with shorts. They are planning to make the HUGE countdown calendar this weekend. Will your son be attending this concert?

You've got it, forget 64! It was MacGirl who gave us that explanation in last summer's Philly concert (14th) thread. Here is the explanation post... http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=2314797#2314797

Jarrett, I just now gave the silver package a try (for 2) and came up with Section B2, Row 12. Are you going to give tomorrow's pre-sales a try prior to committing to the VIP package?
