John Mackintosh:
Didn't this mark the debut of Queenie Eye before a live audience? Nice job on that.
I think first time was in Times Square last week. He also played for Radio Audiences earlier this week. First time for a large audience in UK. Podgie (It's my favorite song on the album) Monkey
-
But the other songs of the album??? He play always the same 4 (save us-queenie eye-new-everybody out there).
-
I wouldn't have expected anymore NEW songs. Sounds like the UK version of Time Square...which is great! Note that on BBC he left off "Everybody Out There"...so my guess is that he'll put that back in for Jools Holland but take out "Save Us"
-
Sounded good today. He did play Everybody Out There on BBC Wix, he played it on the Radio 2 show I think.

Oh! I thought he didn't for some reason. It may have been left off one of the initial setlist reports and I missed it later, I know there was some confusion there.
-
Oops completely missed this.... ops:
-
Looks like he got a great reception on Covent Garden too, good job Paul
-
Did anyone see the McCartney rose atop the piano. How sweet...

Tony Bramwell said there were really big crowds there. Rusty Anderson posted a pic of Paul, before the event, standing in a doorway wearing a long fancy satin cape adorned with the Cross--wonder where Paul got that. Really nice picture Go to Rusty's facebook page to see it, or join Bramwell as a friend on F.B.

If you watch the video again, the stage is in front of a church, St. Paul's I believe!!! My thoughts are McCartney and Co. may have been in there before playing and he put on a vestment used for services in the church. That is just a guess.
-
Do you think there 'll be any more pop ups? It's so cool of Paul to do this YOWZAHHHH PAUL

Yes, and John took it with him when they left
-
John who? Was Lennon's spirit there? (am probably being obtuse) That church looked old as the hills but still not as ancient looking as some other British buildings I've seen (in pictures), which were actually falling down, looked so bad they should have been torn down. Most of course should be left standing. Was it a blasphemy for Paul to don that church garment? No, inspirational, actually, and he gazed imploringly, worshipfully (?) at the heavens, in that pose. Also, the church is named "St. Paul's" ? Two entire bowls of McCartney roses were featured in the picture which went with his twitter story. When he responded to queries on Twitter
