I just purchased The White Album Super Deluxe 6 CD + 1 Blu-Ray Set! I can't wait to get it!
I hope you ordered it from Amazon- they have the best price ($147.06 including tax + free shipping)
I did my shopping before I ordered it from Amazon! Some places are selling it between $250.00 to almost $300.00! Check the prices out on eBay, the prices are enormous!

Mine arrived exactly when Amazon said it would - 8 pm! Still wading through Imagine set, but I think I’ll switch to White Album tomorrow!
P.S. The lyrics on the back of the poster still say “mountain” hills!
Well then technically it is still 'mountain'!!!!....although, in good faith, I believe it to be 'mining'.
How great are these extras!

This article details Beach Boys Mike Love's influence on Paul's composing "Back in the USSR". It also has other information about the Beatles' time in India and some White Album DEMOs

I reckon that song is hugely underrated. Sends a shiver down my spine. It's a beauty.

I so love that Giles mixed the song to lift george's excellent vocal up front. Not sure why it was so quiet previvously. Beautifu song. Now, if only his "Sour Milk Sea" had made the album, I would be blissfully happy. that goes for "Not Guilty" too. George's stuff on the album is excellent. Well, it's all excellent; a masterful collection of songs. I kinda wish they had pursued the less lush "Good Night", with the version of all four singing rather than the one of just Ringo with the heavy orchestration. While the song is still the perfect ending to the album, it could have been more so. IMO

Listening to the Esher Demos right now! So cool! Like being a fly on the wall, right there in the room!

The best moments on the new remix for me are Julia, which sounds even more beautiful than the original. And Yer Blues just knocked my socks off!
As for the Sessions, Revolution 1 and Helter Skelter alone are worth the price of admission! I am also blown away by the lengthy band only version of Hey Jude, which I never knew existed. These aren't just outtakes. Many are different versions of the songs entirely. It just an amazing set of musical treasures that Giles Martin has dug up. I think it's incredible that all these tapes still existed. Thank you EMI!

I received mine earlier today but have not been able to hear it due to watching THE PACIFIC on HBO for Veterans Day! I have tomorrow off so I'll be listening to my 6 CD + 1 Blu-Ray Super Deluxe set all day! I LOVE the set itself, IT IS GORGEOUS!

I've been listening to THE WHITE ALBUM from the 6 CD + 1 Blu-Ray Super Deluxe Set, IT SOUNDS GREAT! The 2018 mix is the best mix to date! I've been listening to the CD's with my earbuds as well as my 8000 watt high powered stereo system, THE BASS IS INCREDIBLE! My whole house is shaking from the BASS!

I'd like to add something to my post! While the 2018 mix is great due to the tremendous bass, you don't hear the guitar sounds as much. While songs such as "Birthday," "Helter Skelter" and "Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except For Me And My Monkey" have great bass, you barely hear the guitar sounds. What do you think?

Personally, Helter-skelter sounds hollow to me. The original had Pauls booming bass that was just as loud as the lead guitar. Now it sounds way too clean and soft, the opposite of what Paul intended. Giles ruined the song with this new mix. Also what happened to the really loud 20 minute version we always heard about. Instead we get a slower blues groove. A big miss.

I own the 20 minute bootleg version which sounds OUTSTANDING! I don't know if you own the 1985 MFSL (Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab) Vinyl or the bootleg MFSL CD's (Needle Drops) but I will always believe that the MFSL mixes sound far better than any vinyl or CD mix releases to date! What do you think? I even think that the Dr. Ebbetts mixes sound better, what do you think?

As my beautiful daughter would text, OMG!! Been listening to the White Album Deluxe. The original album is breath-taking, as usual, but the out takes are simply stupendous. OMG!! Hey Jude, Take 1, is simply amazing. I could go on and on, but what is the use. Now listening to an undated take of Revolution, and yes, I have goose bumps. Holy Batman!!

I'm kind liking Ringo's unadorned "Good NIght." The official version is too lush in the same way that Phil Spector sadddled "The Long and Winding Road," that Paul so detested. Instead of the "heavenly choir" singers Martin used with his orchestration, it might have worked had he used the other Beatles to sing backup instead.
