I haven't seen any posts yet regarding that obtrusive small rising stage. Is it still there?
Yes it's still there.

After seeing the set list for the first two shows, I'm thinking of contacting trading standards about this tour name
You might want to look up the definition of 'Freshen Up' in the dictionary before contacting Trading Standards!

Despite my disappointment with the current tour's lack of changes, I've still gotta ask...
Any word on when the next batch of dates might be announced?
I've heard rumors of Green Bay, LA, San Diego and Chicago.... anywhere else? And when?
Mr. Gannon, what have you got for us?

I saw those hints that you speak as a way to move more codes. However, those cities may NOT be getting shows IMHO. They have targeted some larger markets just to make fans "panic" and purchase more codes. All those clues stated was more dates were being announced, it never specifically said those areas are getting shows. I could be wrong, but he is already doing a show in MAdison and Moline. Not sure if Chicago and Greenbay make sense at this point.

How do maccaboard members et to the pre-sale prices (are there any?). Do we use a code when checking out?

First you have to register on pm.com:
https://www.paulmccartney.com/newsletter-signup
Then you’ll get all the emails about tour dates and whether you need a code or if it is a Verified Fan sale. It’s insanely complicated to explain and both methods have screwed up. The pre-sale prices are the same as general sale to the public. You just get first dibs. If you have an AMEX card you will always be able to get pre-sale tickets.
Read this to see how Verified Fan is done:

Unfortunately nothing at this time. The pace and space between the announcements has made things very tough. Can only bother folks so many times

Chicago seems very unlikely with Paul playing two shows here last summer and him playing Moline, Madison and Fort Wayne. I won't complain if he does end up playing Chicago though. Why not Allstate Arena (smaller 15,000 seat arnea), Sears Centre Arena (10,000 seats) or White Sox ball park!

Maybe they can give a pack of gum with every ticket purchase.

Then why have those targeted ads for those cities in particular? Would seem kinda weird to place ads mentioning those cities, and then end up not doing shows there.

Large populations. The ad went something like "Chicago-more Paul Mccartney dates being revealed soon, purchase presale codes etc". It never specifically stated that Chicago,Boston,La,etc were getting shows, just "keep your eyes open" for new dates in general The Chicagio area has gotten quite a few shows over the last few years including Lolla. Not sure if another gig their specifically makes sense. Who knows, we'll have to wait and see.

It feels like its been forever already with no new tour dates posted yet. Guess maybe they won't be posted until later at the end of the year?

The only reason to get those US dates out so early, was for the CD bundle with the ticket, then grab that #1 in the charts and stuff.
No need for them to hurry right now.

You have a point there. Ah well at least it gives me time to put money away for a good seat and attend his sound check front row seats would be nice but very pricy!

Up close and front row are very very addictive, very hard to go back! You feel like you're in his living room,

Is the special show in Tokyo at 5 November still a secret, or not? It's at the Ryōgoku Kokugikan, which holds probably about 5000 people for concerts.

I do want to go all out with this because who knows if I will get to see him up close like that again? I did see him once years ago but I was on the upper deck in the back. This time I am determined to see him up close! I just have to, just this once! I hope I am given that chance! Front row would be nice but I am sure those seats are very hard to get! After all Paul is my number one favorite musician in the world there is no one like him in my book! Which is why I gotta see him up.close once.
