I'm sure there will be a second concert in London, just like in 2015. How long after that first show was announced did the announcement come for the second date?
I was thinking this but looking at the O2 schedule- both dates either side have been booked by other performers. Haven't checked for the other arenas though. In 2015, tickets were a sell out on either Friday/Saturday morning, and the 2nd date was announced the following Monday.
If he can, it'd be wonderful for him to do a second night in Liverpool. That is the one UK date that is over the top in demand. People want to see Paul in his home town! So fingers crossed

I thought it would be possible for him to do a second show at the O2 either on December 17th or 18th. Have those two days been booked by another artist already?

I think it is impossible to add a second date in Liverpool because in that case he would be performing on three consecutive nights (12,13,14 December).

Maybe he can add a date in Liverpool on December 11th

Noticed that Ticketmaster has (had) a few single "premium" seats for the UK gigs for £400 - £500. They're about 8 rows back on the floor or front rows in level 1. Admission only. Seems scandalous that these are available in addition to the Event Travel VIP packages. One or the other but not both!

I can’t be the only disappointed fan who didn’t make the pre sale ballot and failed to get a ticket for Liverpool gig. Any chance of extra night and how do you stop re-sales on what I can only describe as legal tout sites? Disappointing and frustrating.

Yes, you are right! At least two Liverpool dates and two London dates should have been announced, but even that wouldn't be enough.

No, you're certainly not the only one! I think they need to consider a 'name on the ticket and ID to get in' policy.

Demand for this tour is no different than it was in 2015 and he didn't add a second Liverpool date then so doubt he'll add a second Liverpool date this year.

I wouldn't hold my breath for a 2nd Liverpool show

As I said in my post, a second Liverpool show is doubtful.

Not sure where you're looking but there are no shows after Paul at the O2 for almost a week. So he can easily add another one there.

Good to hear! I guess there's still hope of a second London concert being announced for December 17th or 18th.

Very surprised that Ticketmaster have their own "platinum" tickets, that are actually most of the front 10 rows in london! £500, and not even a soundcheck! Don't know why i'm putting in exclamation marks as it's not funny... not sure how a concert can be announced by Paul as up to £150 prices and then a legal proper company has normal seats at that price. It's not even the VIP event travel that we're all used to as having a few, this is just ticketmaster. Not that anyone even got much chance at the sales by the sound of it.
Vary strange way of selling for these 3 gigs, and pretty depressing for many people.
I'll be there, but only cos of borrowing money to do event travel, hypocrite i may be as i don't agree with it... but hey it's my bday gig i can't not go, and it's been such a hard year, it's a great way to end it. But doesn't take away from the fact these ticket sales have been a disgrace.

I am so very disappointed in not being able to get tickets for the Edmonton concert. I registered for the VF thingy but didn't receive any notification whatsoever. For the public sale, I was not able to get through at all. It just kept timing and then finally said something like "no tickets found" or "request could not be completed". Following trying that for a few hours, no tickets left save for 2 in the $1600-$2000 range. I can't afford those PLUS I would be traveling from Vancouver BC to attend. It's been a hard year for me too (someone else mentioned they'd had a hard year) including a terrible personal loss last month. I had really hoped to see/hear Paul in September but it's looking pretty grim. Lots of seats showing up on the secondary market but I would never trust buying from one of those as I know too many people who have lost out buying fake tickets.

Sorry for your personal loss
frustrating for sure...I lucked out, but man it was hard to get tix this time around
I have used stubhub a few times before and it always worked out. They do have a buyer guarantee too..

It would be lengthy, but I thoroughly approve of the ID'ing process. At least one member of the concert-going party could have a receipt in addition to their ticket(s) that verifies which tickets were purchased by that person and that they are in fact together as a party, with matching ID to suit. It's a shame it has come to this. The folks that actually pay these outlandish prices, officially and un-officially are ultimately the ones to blame though.
-
All who haven't been successful in getting a ticket, don't give up. You should continue to try. Additional tickets are often released closer to show date (and not only day of show). I've been successful in getting a ticket well after the sale date, for shows that I didn't originally plan to go to. I still had time to make travel plans so it wasn't completely last minute. It takes some persistence , as you need to keep checking and checking in the months/weeks before the show. Getting single tickets is easier but you might be able to find a couple together. I realize it's much better to have the tickets during the regular on-sale time so you can more easily make plans, but if you're persistent and willing to wait you may be successful. Good luck to you all, I hope you find tickets.

It's like that everywhere in the entertainment/ sports industry. They charge their prices because the market supports it. Doesn't matter what fan bought it, it would be sold as long as people wanted to sit closer to Paul. And there is a never ending number of them. So while I understand people's disappointment, for many years of seeing Paul I could only afford or get crappy seats and at the times was happy to get them at all. But now at 53 years old when I can finally afford to treat myself and buy VIP tickets for better seats, I will certainly not apologize for that. I paid my dues! And even in the lean years many times if you wanted closer tickets you had to pay exhorbinant prices to scalpers and then later eBay and StubHub , etc......
nothing has changed except now the artist is getting the money.

Exactly. It's fan-fueled and the artists crave the cash. There's no turning back.
