Fans On The Run posted on their Facebook page that we have to wait more six weeks until new shows' announcement.
Did they name sources? And if they know it'll be in 6 weeks, do they also know what it is?
Let's wait and see what happens
When Fans On The Run talks people listen. That was an INCREDIBLE NIGHT !!!!! We have to do it again soon, I hope.

The 2016 announcement came on March 09: https://www.paulmccartney.com/news-blogs/news/first-dates-of-new-one-on-one-tour-confirmed The 2015 announcement came on March 06: https://www.paulmccartney.com/news-blogs/news/paul-brings-out-there-tour-to-europe The 2014 announcement came on March 09: https://www.paulmccartney.com/news-blogs/news/paul-gets-outthere-in-chile So perhaps we are just 4 weeks away from this year's announcement?

Very incredible!

Hmm, that does seem to be a logical progression. And some of them are for April dates as well. Why announce Japan so early this year, then?

The Japanese tour of April 2015 was announced on January 29: https://www.paulmccartney.com/news-blogs/news/out-there-japan-tour-2015 The UK/EU tour of May/June 2015 was announced on March 06: https://www.paulmccartney.com/news-blogs/news/paul-brings-out-there-tour-to-europe So perhaps the concerts that will happen in May (wherever they may be) after this year's Japanese tour will be announced in early March again?

Henley Festival - Henley-on-Thames (Greater London Area) http://www.henleystandard.co.uk/entertainment/story.php?id=42994 Paul might avoid US this year because of TRUMP. So might be looking to Europe / Australia / South America (anywhere but Trumpville, USA)

There's no way Paul is skipping the US because of Trump. It's just too lucrative of a market for him to completely pass over.

Not a chance!

I really hope that's not the case! We need him now more than ever.

This seems to be people guessing that Paul will be there based on some clues from the organizers. I think the lineup is going to be announced on Tuesday so we will know soon. The festival is in July and Henley is quite a nice town btw.

How big is that festival? Do they usually feature superstars like Paul?

They had Elton John recently but mind you he tends to do a lot of UK Tour dates rather than about 4 while Elton tends to do over 10 shows each year. He also does a good bit of touring round Europe and other places as well.

The festival isn't huge but more of a boutique festival with only 3,000 tickets available. Those who buy tickets have to adhere to a strict dress code to enter the festival site - no jeans, no trainers or t-shirts. Black Tie for men (lounge suits are also acceptable but only with a tie) and for the ladies, long or short evening wear or cocktail dresses - with no exceptions for the paying punters. In fact, the only people I've ever seen at the festival with jeans on were (the mighty) Status Quo, who headlined the festival back in 2006!

There is way too much money to be made in the US for Paul to avoid it because of our so-called leader. If he were truly concerned about that, I doubt he would have been over here during the election "season" last year.
-
Does anyone know of Paul not playing anywhere because a leader or a president was voted in legally by the laws of the country of a Truly free Democracy such as the US ?

The answer to that question Phil is never! And it won't start here. He knows there is a boat load of money to be made here!

With all due respect, who cares? It's something that I would not be able to attend so why would I give two craps whether he'll accept that invitation? Just saying

Don't think Paul would avoid a concert tour in the US at all! He wouldn't let anything stop him from continuing to make great music, and what's important is that his music brings people together in a good way! We need that now more than ever.
