^^ Either you have an honest face or you didn't park in the underground garage, as we did.

No, did not park in the garage, we were on foot. So now it makes sense as to why you went thru two layers of security.

There was a technical glitch with the pyrotechnics during Live And Let Die. While the each chorus has two explosions, during the second chorus, both went off in rapid succession (almost simultaneous). If you watch one of the many youtube videos, you can see Brian kick when the second explosion was supposed to occur. His reaction when it didn't happen confirms that it was unintended. Also, I noticed that the timing on all explosions was a fraction of a beat late.

I noticed one of those but not all. Another techy glitch - I don't know how confetti cannons are supposed to work, but instead of nice cut pieces at the end of the show, we got showered with long tangly streamers!

We got splattered by the paper shower, but we avoided the main streams (sounds like something from some dossier, but I can't quite place it). From where we were, it looked like the streamers and the rectangular confetti were not mixed. A nice lady several seats away got conked in the head with a big wad of streamers that had balled up, instead of deploying in a "stream". The final fog barrage seemed to settle right on us. We couldn't breath, let alone see the hands in front of our faces. As we were walking to the side isle of the floor, I noticed that all of the confetti, streamers, spilled drinks, unidentified puddles and chairs in disarray looked more like the aftermath of a circus skit gone wrong titled, "bears with furniture".

Hi everyone, Does anyone who was at the Miami show know whether the setlist in this article is correct? It includes Every Night, which I don't remember reading about in this thread... http://www.noise11.com/news/paul-mccartney-has-just-played-miami-and-given-florida-a-stunning-setlist-20170708 Thanks, Andrew.

He did NOT play Every Night. Everything else on that list looks correct, altho I admit I just scanned it quickly.

Is the cloud of smoke/vapor at the end a new addition? I don't recall it last August in Washington but then I was focussing on catching confetti to stuff in my purse!

It started last year, and it's actually a cool mist (which feels great at the end of the show if you are lucky enough to be close enough for it to reach you )

One thing also, the security was very tight and they were enforcing the bag size rule, even for people entering early for soundcheck. Everyone should look at their arena rules and if you see bag size restrictions, I would follow them. I never bring in a big bag myself, but I know some people do.
Just in general, I think people should expect stricter security at concerts due to what happened in Manchester. Tiny note: when Paul gave his dedication to Nancy during "My Valentine" and pointed her out in the audience, he gave a shout out to her dad Mike, who was there as well.

Thanks very much! I wonder where they got their info from? With the Australian tour on the horizon, I wondered if it came from Paul's people? Maybe Every Night was planned at some point and then dropped?

Perhaps they just meant that he plays virtually the same show every night.
-
^^ Clever response, but both are not true. He absolutely, positively did not play Every Night in Miami's concert nor soundcheck. He's also not playing the same setlist every night.

A stagnant setlist, other than alternating Save Us with Junior's Farm... Letting Go with Jet.... and Birthday with Get Back. It's basically the same setlist every night, other than these 3 minor exceptions.

Ugh, they're still at the badly mixed unpolished mono opener snippets for the press? Those gave the final nail to the coffin of his reputation for the average concert goer back in The Netherlands when he did Pinkpop last year. Bad sound, no voice, three times repeated at prime time in between the slick post-produced footage of the other big acts at the festival. So amateurish. Luckily this one doesn't sound so bad.
