I hope the September shows will have a few more changes? Maybe?

FlowersOnTheRun:
Sgt Peppers Reprise and Junior's Farm per setlist.fm Reprise, Junior's Farm and I Wanna Be Your Man appear to be the surprises. I'll never tire of Junior's Farm, Reprise is a nice addition, but I Wanna Be Your Man is B tier RINGO material. That's the point Paul has gotten to. Playing one the worse Beatle songs Ringo sang! I'll give him a pass. He's playing my favorite arrangement of my favorite Beatle song (You Won't See Me), and that's all I care.
Ugh, Junior's Farm was a mistake on there when I was copy-pasting something. I was hoping no one would notice. It was Hi Hi Hi.

ah ok. I love Hi Hi Hi, but wish he'd replace Temporary Secretary with it and have Junior's Farm in the encore. Is that too much to ask?

On my way home from show as we speak.... yeah, zero surprises, but what-friggin'-ever.... it's still a good show! It's been a fun 27 year ride for me.

So glad I didn't spend the money for the Tampa Show. Of course it is good for the first timers but what about the true fans. If you want to continue to tour, you have to constantly bring out new, fresh material (some things never done before) and that takes preparation and rehearsal time....not the day before. You can't continue to play non-signature songs over and over again. It way too repetitive. Paul and the Band give their all while the show is going on and I give them that but this setlist has very little for me. The 1990, 1993, 2002, 2009-2010 tours were so much better for the true fans.

I know it's been rehashed millions of times, but the show is still quite good if it's your first, second, even third time. The only issue with it for all of us is that we've seen it all numerous times. From what I saw on Periscope, he still got the usual good crowd reactions -- would folks who were there agree? I was monitoring online comments from people who haven't seen him that many times and everyone seemed to be having a really good time. He's got the show down to a science at this point, and as long as most of the crowd is pleased he's pleased. He and the band can autopilot it -- Brian was tweeting about politics right up until the show started. It reminds me more and more of Broadway shows, being exactly the same each time, and the actors show up about a half hour before showtime because the whole thing is so routine. He's 75, if that's what works best for him now, I'm still thankful for whatever he's out there doing.
-
So much for a refreshed version of the set! I expect the show went down well with those who were there, but some minor changes could have been added since they were in Tokyo? I do wanna see Paul if he decides to tour the UK again but maybe this is where the bar is set now.
-
SAVE US was the second song. "Here There Everywhere" was cut. Only two surprises if you want to call it that. There were actual production enhancements which were impressive.
-
No wardrobe change story as well as the reading of the KITE poster. Show did seem less polished for us regulars. Paul's voice continues to be in a decline
-
Don't get me wrong McCartney shows are a lot of fun, but these setlists are just so sub par. I feel like a phrase used on a Bruce Springsteen board sums it up: misguided and uninspired. I don't want to rain on anyone's parade because I'm sure the show was awesome I just wish Paul would eventually start to shift things up more than adding in an already overplayed one minute song.
-
All the armchair quarterbacks are coming back out, reminding me why I quit this place 3 years ago after the Jacksonville show. Later all.
-
Just back from the show.... I could care less if he sang the same exact song 28 times in a row. I still love it I found his voice to be in excellent shape. He looke enthused and relaxed and genuinely happy to make us happy. band was absolutely killer as usual, they do not get enough credit. Bravo Paul! And Thank you! See you next time!

Ringo's bday seemed to be any afterthought tonight as many were calling it out and Paul seem to pause and then acknowledge it. Now that Ringo announced his new cd will be released in September does Paul miss out on a NYC press run on his new album; or is that now a 2018 release?

An afterthought? Seriously? He waited for the encore to play the Birthday Song, something he's never done before. But you're right.

and it goes Maybe I'm Amazed-Love Me Do-Four Fuve Seconds got the biggest cheers tonight. Very diverse cultural audience tonight as I talked to many folks from Mexico and South America

An afterthought meaning he forgot Ringo's bday. He had been encoring BDAY the last two years.

yeah his voice would probably be better if he didn't speak too much during the day, didn't sing too much during soundcheck, cut out spicy foods and nightshades, etc but he's also 75 and he should've started taking care of his voice years ago. Even a new act singer will tell you to do those things, as will any vocal specialist. But, the vocals are at the back of your mind when you're at the show and at the venue, the backing vox really blend so it sounds far better

He didn't forget. He was just letting the crowd yell it out.
