Looks like I might be headed to the DC show as well. I don't know why I enjoy living in debt, but I seem to let Paul put me in it whenever he tours. :
Congrats! I really splurged on this concert, but I thankfully had been saving for a while! He's coming to my city, but I decided to go elsewhere since I can't take music festivals!
There's no way I'd survive the 'roo. VERMONT in the summer is too hot for me! ops: This will make four Paul shows this summer for me, all of which are going to hurt my bank account. However, for those days leading up to the concert and the concert itself, it will be bliss!
Would be Outside Lands for me, so shouldn't be too hot in the city, but I just can't do the general admission crowds. But, will still probably go and find a nice spot in the park to sit and at least listen. If I had a chance to take more time off of work, I probably would have done more Paul shows this summer, but I need to save my vacation time for the holidays and a big trip for next fall that is possibly in the works.

One of the perks of teaching is the summers off, and Paul has thankfully kept his US touring to primarily summer time. You'll probably get a nice listen in the park! And much cheaper, too.

Oh yes that is a nice perk! yes, I'm sure there will be a lot of others doing the same, but won't be nearly as mad as it will be inside I'm sure!

Sounds like a crowd going. Now not sure about me as my son may be tied up that weekend and part of the reason for going up there is to see him as well as Paul. Wish he was playing in his band, then it would be two birds with one stone!

Fab4Clayton, sure wish you were coming to this show! Remember FedEx and sharing some of the concert in the aisle of my row with my daughter and grandson? Fun times! But the best EVER was finding out at 4 am that we'd 'won' those free tickets to the the David Lynch benefit concert at RCMH in NYC. OMG!!! What a crazy rush to get to the city and what an AWESOME night we had! Paul sure has brought a lot of fun into our lives over the years, and he's still working his magic!

I can't believe I'm actually going to this show. SO thrilled. I especially can't wait to see all of your there, old friends and soon-to-be friends.

Tiggy, I'll miss being with you at a Paul concert. Yes, great memories. We are going to Memphis. Wish I was going to DC as well. Be sure and tell us all about it.

I managed to get a ticket in Section 3, Row 9. COULD NOT BE MORE EXCITED. I missed him the last few times he was in town and have really regretted it. Even though I qualified for pre-sale, I actually had to wait to get tickets until they were released to the general public, which happened to be the day I got paid. I was originally going for the Silver package, but by the time I got to the tickets everything was sold out except for Gold and VIP. I would have gotten VIP if I had enough in my bank account, honestly. I haven't even been to a "real" (stadium or arena) concert before, just smaller shows in clubs and other smaller venues.

Wow, I can't believe a first row is still available. If I had the money or if the price was cheaper, I'd be all over that ticket!

When I was getting mine, the $2,000 and $650 tickets were the only ones that weren't sold out. I definitely would have gotten front row if I had the money...
