MaccaBeatles:
Yeah but his first album is called Greetings from Asbury Park, NJ! So I can see why people would think otherwise.
one of my best friends went to high school with him in freehold. if you ask me, he just claims all of the nj shore as his hometown, and that is ok with me!
-
MaccaBeatles:
Jake Clemons does his uncle proud on the Born To Run sax solo.
jake was amazing, did his uncle proud alright!

Courtney Love: "Look, maybe if John were still alive it would be cool." http://www.tmz.com/2012/12/12/courtney-love-nirvana-reunion-paul-mccartney-kurt-cobain-121212-concert/
The only surprise is its taken her as long to take to the papers, but lets be clear this isn't a Nirvana reunion the main man isn't there, clear that massive point up and maybe we can enjoy what Dave and Paul have put together.

Just wanted to mention at 930 PM ET, there is a world wide 12 12 12 meditation on the word LOVE. Bruce is singing for his hometown Asbury Park and for the Jersey Shore...woooo Bruceeee. My City of Dreams.
bruce actually is from freehold, nj
Yes but Asbury Park has a tremendous music scene and Bruce also "grew up" and played in his early days at places like the Stone Pony in Asbury... He even featured it on his first album. The town even has a sign when you enter, that says Welcome to Asbury Park! So it is considered Bruce's town too!
-
So onto Roger Waters Sounding like Roger Waters,no bad thing in hubby's eyes.

I think I need to add Roger Waters to my concert wish-list...
-
Saw him in Liverpool a few of years back well worth the trip though it has to be said he does miss Mr Gilmour.
-
Add him to my list along with: The Who The Rolling Stones Elvis Costello Bruce Springsteen Paul Weller Neil Young The Monkees Prince Ringo and on and on and on.... Sigh

Those are all great acts to see. I totally dropped the ball on a chance to see Ringo this summer. I'd like to see Prince, but his stage show has changed a lot recently.
-
I'm a lil late to the party, but I've been watching since it started! Is this GREAT or what?!?!
-
Hubby saw Prince back in the '80's he still waxes lyrical about it to this day so he's on my list to see. Us and Them is a hell of a hard song to sing live but they're doing a fine job of it. And i really hope new york stocked up on black T shirts in time for Waters and Co.
-
what was THAT?!
-
WixRocks!:

See Prince! You won't regret it. As far as Us and Them... please make it STOP!!!
(Roger started out so strong up until then)
-
MAN! Eddie Vedder's voice is kicking major butt! Wish he had sang Waters' whole set!

Vedder didn't get the memo, apparently.
