Paul's Favorite Books?

Does anyone know what Macca likes to read? I've been reading Phillip Norman's biography of Paul, but there's not much in the way of literary influences in it. Any books about Paul you really like would also be appreciated!

In a 1975 interview Paul revealed that "I've been reading a bit of science fiction, things like Foundation by Asimov.I love the scope of it, the visioin of it,because you can write anything."

Hey teddyboy...From over the years, I know Paul really likes Charles Dickens.
Speaking of Charles Dickens, a movie that came out only a couple of years ago that I really like is called "The Man Who Invented Christmas" which is about Charles Dickens after he had 3 flops in a row in his own country of the UK. Charles didn't like those kind of critics but it did push him to write probably his most famous book...The Christmas Carol.

Thanks guys! I've started on Asimov's Foundation-- very cool. Deserves the praise I've heard of it, very much like Star Wars before Star Wars, without getting too bogged down in the names of planets and political deals. Very dramatic. I like it a lot so far! If y'all hear of any more Paul likes, post it here! I will, as well.
Wild to me that Paul reads Chaucer in Middle English, the guy is so intelligent but hardly ever brags! -
I remember in some fan group we all were watching an interview with Paul that was done at one of his places. We took the time to look at the furnishings behind him, the artwork he had hanging, taste in couches. someone froze a frame and read what book titles they could on the bookshelf behind him.
Personally, I always found looking at people's bookshelves fascinating and big insight into the person. the books visible were mostly on plant biology, gardening, and insects like one on the biology of ants.

He said in Chaos and Creation at Abbey Road on youtube now that he reads a lot of Dickens,as someone else on here said. Specifically, in some interview I recall he cited Nicholas Nickleby by Dickens as his favorite. I need to read that and what better than the Winter when not much going on.

"Nicholas Nickleby" isn't Dickens' most famous, but it's great. And it has a wonderful comic villain in one section, Wackford Squeers (don't you just love Dickens'character names?)
