This question came to me yesterday after looking up Ram On the Paul MCCartney Project website. This is a great site documenting all his albums, concerts, songs, since his earliest days. For each song, there is a graph of each year done and then listing of concerts or sound checks where performed. I saw him do Ram On in Charlotte in 2010, watched it on youtube yesterday. This question hit me and I added up13 concerts where it has been done. Tons of sound checks but I didn't count those,
So, for me, it has to be Ram On, although Mull of Kintyre must be close to it. How about you? Anyone catch Come and Get It which has to be a rare one as I think he did it at some European dates 10 or so years ago. Anyone see something like The Mess live in the early Wingsdays fifty years ago?
Hete's hoping for the nclusion of something never played live before during the Got Back tour,
He's played "Mull of Kintyre" evreytime that I've seen him; it's a Canadian thing. So far there's been no Canadian dates set for the upcoming tour. Fingers crossed & ready to blow the entertainment budget.
Actually, it's a Scottish thing. Used to live there but I saw it in Canada as well, just once, in 2010. Great song about a beautiful place. I imagine he will have more dates in September/October and hopefully will visit Canada.
Yes the scenery around the Mull of Kintyre is stunning and of course Paul had a place there and retreated to it after the Beatles broke up. Was lucky enough to hear Paul do this live back in 2009.

"On My Way To Work" from the NEW cd. He played it in concert only once in Albany, NY in July, 2014.
Appreciate your mentioning this. There are three videos of him doing this number in Albany. That has to be as rare as the one time only performance of Cosmically Conscious in 2009. Wish I could have been there for both.
-
I saw him sing "Back In Brazil" twice, both times in Brazil. The only other live performance of that song was in Chile, before he arrived in Brazil.

I'm enjoying this thread.
Thanks, John, for reminding us about Cosmically Conscious. I was there at the David Lynch benefit. as well as in Albany when Paul played On My Way to work at soundcheck as well.
Also, thanks, 5th Beatle. Back in Brazil is a great song to have seen performed.
I was there when:
Paul played "Alligator" at soundcheck in Philadelphia in 2015 & 2016.
"Bluebirds" NJ soundcheck 2016
"One After 909" Valentine Day 2015 concert Irving Plaza.
At Highline Ballroom June 2007: "That Was Me" and "House of Wax"
At some soundchecks I've been to, he's played "Celebration" on piano.
2009 tour he performed "Highway"
2005 tour when he performed "I'll Get You"
At the David Lynch benefit Paul played bass while Ringo sang "With a Little Help From My Friends"
It's always great when Paul has included "rare" songs in his tours, like "The Night Before" in 2011.
-
I would go for "(I want to) come home", which was only performed on the "Good evening Europe" tour in December 2009. It hasn't even been released on record, although Tom Jones did a version of it on one of his albums.

You have a wonderful ability to show up when he does rare numbers. Please attend the May 31 Knoxville show I plan to attend (fingers crossed).

I know there are several soundcheck setlist threads on here, but I wonder if anyone has a complete list of the songs he did from the beginning, when he started inviting fans to SC. When was that? I was late to the party and my first was in 2013 in Memphis. Attended 2 more: 2014 in Atlanta and 2017 in Duluth, GA.

Just think, he did all these songs before a close to 3 hour concert and people wonder why is voice has gone downhill -lol

I got out of town tickets for Cincinnati Ohio. They had been getting lots and lots of rain ... this was a Stadium Concert -
the rain took a break for the concert...
Paul was ready to do an acoustic guitar song ..
He strums a few chords and sings "It ain't gonna rain no more no more ... but it was just a small bit and would not be counted as a song really, but it was good for a laugh and a cheer - and a definite timing thing.
-
"Hippy Hippy Shake" at Anfield Stadium, Liverpool, 2008. He also sang "In Liverpool" there then.
-
Paul's Sound Check package seats began in 2010. Yes, it would be great to have complete setlists for all the soundchecks. Thanks for your list NJR! It's great that so many have been posted here on the board over the years!

Thank you. Had no idea he had ever down that one live

Probably Hitch Hike ~ Comerica Park/Detroit July 24, 2011. It was great! Really enjoyed that show too!

This isn't a "Paul" song, but I had the extreme pleasure to see Paul & Tony Bennett perform together at Neil Young's Bridge School concert in 2004 in Mountain View, CA, and watching them sing a duet "The Very Thought of You" was such a thrill, it gives me goosebumps just remembering it.

That is rare!! What a unique privilege for you!
Here's a clip of Paul and Tony Bennett performing "The Very Thought of You" from a documentary "Duets"
Speaking of another "not Paul song" I was lucky enough to see Paul perform "On A Slow Boat to China" at a benefit honoring Frank Loesser.

I've seen Mull in both Canada and Scotland, but the most recent shows I saw in both countries in 2018 and 2019 did not include Mull, so he is no longer playing it.

- "Back In Brazil" at two concerts
- A bit of "All You Need Is Love" on the piano at the concert in Ecuador
- A bit of "Yellow Submarine" with a cartoon of it on the big screen at a couple of concerts
- The "ooh ooh ooh" part of "Back In The USSR" on the piano for a minute or so after that song ended, before he started the next one
- "Hope Of Deliverance" and "Ram On" at a few concerts
- Soundchecks: "Oh, Susannah" (playing a small harmonica, not singing), "Sun Is Shining", "Ebony And Ivory", "Every Night", "Don't Let The Sun Catch You Crying", "(I Want To) Come Home", "Petrushka", "Leaning On A Lamp-Post", "Calico Skies", "Blue Suede Shoes", "I'll Follow The Sun", etc
- Improvisations at concerts lasting a minute or so each mentioning the name of a Brazilian city, such as this one:
