Would be better if you were allowed to just type in your selections instead of checking off ones that the McCartney team selected. This is another way Paul is a phony at times. There is no way in heck he would do most of those songs listed so why lead fans on that you might think about playing any of them. I am pretty damn sure Paul would not care one iota about what I would want on a setlist because it would not be so Beatle top heavy. That subject has been beaten to death so I will not continue -lol.

You can just answer his post as to what you want to hear (or delete and replace) You don’t have to just use their selections!

I must be technically challenged on this item. I did not see a way to get passed their selections. When I attempted to do search and type in name of different song, nothing happened. Not that big a deal, did try just for the fun of it. Thanks for letting me know.

Paul talks to a Brazilian reporter regarding his 2023 setlist
O repertório de “Got back”, ele avisa, não tem grandes surpresas: “Será, basicamente, o do show com o qual excursionamos pelos EUA no ano passado”.
(The "Got Back" setlist, he says, does not feature big surprises: "It will basically be the one from last year's US tour".)
"Se você põe alguma canção, tem que tirar outra. Então, você tem que pensar muito bem. Dá para tirar 'Hey Jude'? Não. Ou 'Let it be'? Nem pensar. Então você tenta deixar as suas melhores músicas, aquelas de que o público mais gosta, e põe algumas de que você gosta, apenas para manter o show mais arejado — ensina. — Às vezes, penso no meu show como se ele fosse um musical. E você não muda o repertório de um musical só porque vai de Londres para Nova York. Você pode fazer algumas mudanças, e haverá algumas em relação aos shows que fizemos da última vez no Brasil (em 2019)".
"If you add a song, you have to remove another one. So, you have to think hard about it. Can you remove 'Hey Jude'? No. Or 'Let It Be'? No way. So you try to keep your best songs, the audience's favorites, and you add some that you like, just to keep the show a bit more fresh - he teaches. - Sometimes I think of my show as a musical. You don't change the songs in a musical just because you go from London to New York. You can make some changes, and there will be a few in comparison to the shows that we did in Brazil last time (in 2019)".

Paul's setlists have been discussed many times before with people like me beating the subject to death. A few others and I on this board wanted to hear more solo songs live. We fully understood Paul need to play the Beatle hits (Hey Jude, Let It Be etc.) but thought he could do better job of mixing up the non- Beatle songs better and play some he never played before live. The last time to toured it was very surprising to me that he only did one song from "McCartney III" (Woman and Wives) and it is not the one I would have selected. Yes, the Brazil show will be a bit different since last time he was there was 4 years ago. Honestly, it does not matter what he plays the crowd will love it and sing along. My gut feeling is he may actually play "Hope of Deliverance" again because he tends to play it in South American countries.

Got to laugh at the hypocrisy of it all. Paul sends this twitter asking fans for their "dream" setlist like he cares what they want to hear. He then goes out on the first night and pretty much does the same songs he did the last time he performed live. To make matters worse (IMO), he does not even play one song from his last album (McCartney III). While some fans may go "gaga" over him playing "She's A Woman", it is not even a Beatle song he has never done live. He did it about 20 years ago, so he threw that in to make it look like he was doing something different. I really wish he would stop asking fans what they want to hear when he knows darn well, he will not do it.

@yankeefan2 I don't think the create your dream setlist was ever to be used for Paul to create his own concert setlist. Think it was just something fun for people to do.
-
I understand it was for something fun to do for his fans, but it could also be used to get some feedback.

I couldn't figure out how to not use their selections, but I checked a list that was almost all post-Beatles and heavy with stuff he's never or rarely done live. I don't think he'll reconfigure his show based on this, but I figure every bit of feedback Paul and Co. get requesting more solo stuff can't hurt and might help a tiny bit.

Agee 100%.

"Coming Up" live in Sydney 28.10.2023!
-
Got to laugh. Paul does a different solo song but does he do something fairly recent, of course not. He replaced "Come on to Me" with "Coming Up" and the setlist added another song not written in this century.
-
@yankeefan2 What a shame it wasn't more recent.

What is the reason for exchanging only three songs (Drive my car, Come on to me and New)? Especially with two concerts in one city, an alternative setlist should be a welcome change for all sides. I don't understand it at all, especially because the band has rehearsed enough songs over the years...
-
I give up on him ever really changing his setlist much at all! ️
