Looking at "My Dream Paul McCartney Setlist" above, I count a total of 14 Beatle Songs I would include out of 37 Songs. As a big time Macca fan, that sounds fair considering Paul spent 6-7 years as a Beatle. Conversely, as a Solo Artist, he has spent over 50 years. In my "Imagined" Set List I include 23 Post Beatle Songs. I spread those Solo tracks out over those 50 years to include:McCartney 3 (Find My Way, Slidin)
Egypt Station (I Don't Know, Who Cares, Do It Now)"
New (I Can Bet,New)
Memory Almost Full (Ever Present Past, Dance Tonight, That Was Me)
Chaos and Creation (English Tea, Too Much Rain)
Flaming Pie (Little Willow, Young Boy, Calico Skies)
Flowers in the Dirt (Put It There)
Tug of War (Here Today)
Venus and Mars
At the Speed of Sound (Let 'Em In)
Kisses on the Bottom (My Valentine)
Band on the Run (1985, Band on the Run) -

"Letting Go" from Venus and Mars was the other Solo song on my last post. While many of his Solo songs on "My Dream Set List" won't get the immediate screams from the crowd, the majority are known to many in the audience. Paul should concentrate on just singing the songs anyway and not worry about the crowd reaction. Just including the Post Beatle songs will produce videos which will be seen by countless numbers of fans not in attendance. At the end of the day, that's the main point of doing them anyway.
I would have included "Maybe I'm Amazed" to make 38 songs in total. Unfortunately, it pains me to hear him attempting to sing MIA 21with his current voice.
Other Solo songs I considered were "Wanderlust, Beautiful Night and Silly Love Songs" but I didn't think he could do them justice in 2023.
Just looking at my List of Solo Songs alone gives further proof of his brilliant career after the Beatles. He should be damn proud of that portion of his musical life. As long as he can still sing them fairly well, I'm in favor of more Solo Songs at any future McCartney Concert.

On "My Dreams Set List" for the Got Back Tour, Paul's Encore starts at #33 with "I've Got a Feeling". Notice I have "Slidin" from McCartney 3 in the Encore at #35.This Imagined Setlist presents a nice "Balance" of Paul's Entire Music Career. In retrospect, I probably should have stuck another great track from McCartney 3 ... "Seize the Day" somewhere in the middle. It shows that Paul was still writing great songs in his 80's.

@b-j-conlee Paul was a Beatle (as was John & George) technically for 10 years (1960-1970)

True Nancy Paul one of the Beatles for about 10 years. But his Post Beatles career is now over 50 years.
I too loved the review/ video of the Australian who
Attended one of his current "Down Under" Shows.
Like him, I put together my "Dream Setlist". I had about 14 Beatle songs and the remainder (23) being Solo tracks.
I based my Solo selections (Page 3 on this topic)on whether Paul could in "2023" still sing them fairly well. I loved my Solo selections because I have 3 each from his newest albums McCartney 3 and Egypt Station. I also included older Solo songs that he's never performed previously like "Little Willow" " I Can Bet" and "Too Much Rain". And my Dream Set List positively does not include "Fuh You" -
Wonderful dream setlist but we all know it is just a dream -lol. Even if I was to make a dream setlist I would be fine with Beatle/Wings heavy show, they still are fun songs to listen to and bring back great memories. I would just mix up the remaining songs to include things I would love to hear and remove some songs because they have been around too long, or they are just ones I don't care to hear live anymore. Some changes in my dream setlist compared to yours would be the following. Finally, I know he could not sing some of these songs that well anymore but it is a "dream" setlist.
- Replace "Let Em In" with "Beware My Love"
- Replace "Blackbird" with "Bluebird"
- Replace "Here Today" with "Early Days"
- Replace "My Valentine" with "Anyway"
- Replace "Something" with "All Things Must Pass"
- Replace "Love Me Do" with "Long Tall Sally"
- Replace "New" with "Seize The Day"
- Replace "Dance Tonight" with "Run Devil Run"

I certainly concur with much of that, Yankee Fan!!!....
I would love Beware My Love, but not at the expense of Let Em in..... So, let's just jettison Come on To Me.
Bluebird! Absolutely!
I think he will stick with Here Today.
Anyway... Yep, very happy to include that ahead of My Valentine.
Yep, All Things Must Pass... another tick.
I'd prefer Love Me Do to be replaced with a non-cover.... unless it was Til There Was You.
I'm happy for neither Dance Tonight or Run Devil Run..... I was never a fun of the latter. Happy to get rid of both of them, along with Fuh You.
That leaves room for Rocky Raccoon and Beautiful Night!

Paul is fantastic covering 50's rock and his vocals on RDR were fantastic. The Beatles did 50's songs in their shows and Paul has also done them when toured in 1989 and 1993. I personally love 50's rocker like "Long Tall Sally" and that is why I added it to my "dream" set list replacements. Thought it was fantastic that Paul's original songs on RDR fit in so well with the 50's cover songs he did on the album including the title song RDR. Too each their own -lol

I love Paul doing flat-out rock 'n' roll, and his ability to channel Little Richard is wondrous. I don't think he could do justice to most of the songs on "Run Devil Run" now, including the title song, but I would have loved to see a show with those songs in it when he was a bit younger.

The Caven Club show where he did the entire RDR album I believe was awesome. See link below. Imagine if Paul would have done a small tour with that band which included David Gilmour and Ian Paice. That could have been one heck of a show with maybe a few early Beatle songs added. I agree Paul could not do most of these songs now but back then his vocals were incredible. If you have 45 minutes to listen, enjoy clip below.

@yankeefan2 I've seen that show before & it was fantastic. He sure was in good voice.

@yankeefan2 I have the DVD of this and it’s great!

Awesome!! Do they give you anything else besides the concert? Did not know if you get an interview of Paul or behind the scenes stuff before or after the show.

Yes, if I recall right, PBS aired it in the U.S. It was great.
