No. I just have a feeling this will be the time. There will hopefully be some surprise "extras" with the movie release.

Sadly I feel the same way. I could be wrong but it may not be anything all that new and revealing footage or story wise.

Indeed. Surely there's nothing left to tell. The 3 people who have the most to tell aren't with us anymore: Derek, Neil and Mal. As for film or video, there'll probably be fan's home movies interspersed with the usual tour stuff we've all seen and heard. I say "we" meaning hardcore fans. I think this film is for the casual fan. I'm sure they'll find it amazing. I'll watch it with an open mind and hopefully I'm pleasantly surprised.

You can't cover that much performance in a 2 hour movie. I'd rather watch full concerts of them. But I'm sure it will be entertaining and fascinating. It's really a story that hasn't been done before. Ron Howard is a huge Beatles' fan, so I'm sure Beatles' fans will find it amazing too!

You need to host a podcast. You make me chuckle on a daily basis!

Seems like everything is for the casual fan these days.

Even his jeans are trending more casual these days. Have you seen them? ... and his jackets?

I haven't read all of the pages in between. When is it scheduled to come out?

A quick Google shows it's to be released in the autumn of this year but no specific date has yet been announced.

Judging by Howard's previous movies, I'm not expecting anything new. He's a pretty pedestrian Director, mainly trying for commercial appeal with his movies. This will probably be a snooze-fest.

Thanks. So, no specific date yet.

If a lot of Shea and the Tokyo shows are the main focus we might have something. I'm not holding my breath though.
-
Common sense should tell Ron Howard that Shea is a very important concert to talk about in the documentary let alone show new footage!

Hopefully so. We'll see what happens.
