I was wondering..do any of you loyal fans here have children, grandchildren, even pets named after anything to do with Paul or The Beatles? I'll bet there have been quite a few Michelles named after the song of course....but what about Prudences? Vera, Chuck and Dave? Eleanors or Judes? Just curious...

My son is named JohnPaul for John and Paul.

I loved the name Prudence, but I didn't go through with it because the backstory behind the song is kind of depressing for me. It's not a story I wanted to think about when thinking of my kids. But I still like the name. I only have girls and I did have Sadie and Eleanor on my consideration lists, but no go for either. One of my exes, who is a huge fan, named his boy James Paul. I was not surprised by this at all.

My daughter's middle name is Michelle. But it was also because her dad is Michael. My daughter's twin brother is Kevin Michael. Surpisingly, I never named an animal after any Beatle or Beatles-related name! My 3 cats now are Buffy, Angel and Spike! (any Vampire Slayer fans out there?)

I had a dog named Sadie (Sexy Sadie) and now I have a Lucy (in the sky). I knew someone that raised mini horses & she named them all after Macca or Beatles songs.

My youngest daughter and her husband are very methodic. They waited until their careers were well established before having a child. She's been teaching World History for over 10 years now, and he is a DOT officer. They blessed us with a little girl 3 years ago. My daughter was going to name her Lenyn, a feminine spin on John's last name, until she saw the name Eltyn somewhere. A feminine spin on Elton John's name.

I like Lenyn and Eltyn....very creative! I know a John Paul but he was named after the pope....no Beatles connection. Very nice name just the same.

Named our latest zebra finch "Pauly" because he is very vocal.

John Paul (the first and second) were named after...John and Paul (The Beatles) ...it's a higher educated...catholic secret

If I ever bought a dog, it'd be a bulldog, and I'd just call it "Hey". Short and simple.

Well, well, Nance R, I didn't have you down as a Buffy fan!.... pre-Luke Perry I am presuming?... I thought Faith was tidy... not that I ever watched that show.... But, yeah, Faith.... she was pretty good.

I've had cats named: Thisbe (stole that one from one of Paul's cats, which was apparently named after John's role in the famous Shakespeare skit!), JP (John Paul), and PJ (Paul John). For some reason, I haven't given any of my dogs Beatles names. Yet...

Funny, back in 1978 I wanted to call a dog we got (beatiful Golden Retriever pup) "Ringo," but there was a dog named "Bingo" across the street so figured it wasn't a good choice. We ended up calling him "Dusty." In retrospect I'm glad we didn't end up calling him "Ringo."
