What Beatles Item did you last buy?
-
Well, I didn't actually buy them, but Christmas presents count, eh? I got the 'White Book' by Ken Mansfield, which I was sorely disappointed. It was more about Mansfield than anybody. The best part was the cover. I also got 'McCartney Years' 3 DVD' set which took getting used to, but now that I did, I love it. The best of it being the 3rd disc (in my opinion.) Ritameter PS/ Just spent the afternoon listening to the whole thing and really, really love it. No favorites anymore ... all are exceptional!

I got a shirt from a HELP! concert I went to tonight. HELP is a Beatles tribute band. They don't try to look like them, instead they try to sound like them, and it works. They sound very much like the real thing. I couldn't see the person who plays John very much, so I could only hear him, and if I hadn't known any better I would've thought it was the real John playing... unforuently such a thing can't happen now. They played a great version of "In My Life" which I recorded using a cellphone, so tomorrow I'm going to find a way to transfer to my computer and probably share it with everyone here. You can go to their website at http://cornmuffin.com (don't ask, I don't have an answer for you)... it was great... they sang "Birthday" and in 6 days it is my birthday, Paul even said my name correctly, most can't for some reason.

Well I didn't buy it, my sister is moving and was going through old albums that she was going to give away, she asked me if I wanted The Concert for Bangladesh!! I never even knew she had that on vinyl. Inside the box, under all the albums, was an article about the concert from Life Magazine.
