Mainly records, CD's, and books right now. I still collect comic books, but not as much as I used to a few years ago.

Count on it. To where do I address the letter?
Just stay in the U.S. Libs had to endure eight years of Bush; surely, you can handle four more of Obama.
Of course I'm staying. I love my country too much, though I wouldn't mind living in New Zealand for a while. I hope and pray that Obama does have a great second term. Am I counting on it? No. But I'm going to try and stay optimistic. I want my family to be in a better place than they are right now. Seriously.

If I wasn't a stubborn bastard I would congratulate Obama, but alas, I'm a stubborn bastard. I hear New Zealand's nice, anyone been there?

It is often said that the Republicans are the party for liberty, lower taxes and smaller state. These base ideals appeal to me, however I also feel that MANY within that party do not stand for individual freedoms and choice (Unlike Ron Paul, for example. I could vote for him, right up my avenue mostly). What do you think?
This is pretty much where I'm at in my beliefs.

In the US third parties are just a way to throw away your vote.
Or a way to have a clean conscience.
Brilliant, AbbeyRoadCrosser. Totally correct on the last comment. So, I take it you may vote for Gary Johnson?
If I could, just a year under the age requirement .

RE: Marvel's Cinematic Universe

Do you all remember the Marvel crossover story, where all of the Marvel heroes joined up to fight a visitor with god-like powers who was out to destroy the world? Better than the Avengers series, as Spiderman and the X-Men were also present, as well as the Silver Surfer and the Fantastic Four. This must be from the '80's, so it's been a long time, but still pretty cool. I think it was an 8 part comic series.
I think that's Secret Wars II. I haven't read the whole crossover though, only the Spider-Man tie ins.

RE: Marvel's Cinematic Universe
Judging by the trailer for Iron Man 3, I think it has the potential to surpass TDKR. It seems if the villain in Avengers 2 is Thanos, (the purple guy at the end of the credits), Guardians of the Galaxy can set him up, maybe a first appearance at the end where the Guardians lose then lead directly into Avengers 2 with a limping Star-Lord showing up at Stark Tower. Then since Ant-Man comes out after A2, Ant-Man could set up a possible Avengers 3 villain, Ultron. :Sigh: In a perfect world

Marvel's Cinematic Universe
With the drop of the new 'Iron Man 3' trailer this morning, signaling the start of Phase II in the MCU, I thought it might be a good time to start a thread to discuss the upcoming movies. Iron Man 3 (May 2013) http://trailers.apple.com/movies/marvel/ironman3/ironman3-tlr1-m4mb0_720p.mov Thor: The Dark World (November 2013) Captain America: The Winter Soldier (April 2014) Guardians Of The Galaxy (August 2014) Avengers 2 (May 2015) Ant-Man (November 2015) The next three years should be great, especially if Disney and Sony can work to get Spider-Man in the Avengers for a few scenes.

There wouldn't be less horses and bayonets if blacksmiths and bayonet makers had a public union behind them.

The Huffy Post reports one of Romney's sons "says he wants to take a swing at Obama"--classy.
That's a bit like Eva Longoria calling women supporting Romney "stupid".
Actually, it's not.

A better analogy would be: That's like the painkiller-smuggling Rush Limbaugh wanting to punch a DEA agent. There. That's better.
That's a good one, you got a smile out of me.
