Meat weilding nazis invade vegan restaurant
I thought this was a joke. Meat wielding nazis wearing sausage necklaces invade a Vegan cafe throwing meat on the grill

what weighs more? Feathers or bricks?
What weighs more? 200 pounds of bricks or 200 pounds of feathers? the feathers Why? You'd have to walk around with the weight of what was done to all those poor birds

RE: Macca's Tude about Snakes Helps
and Suzy, you described a very good way to handle it. I've had to do it with spiders and insects

RE: Macca's Tude about Snakes Helps
At the National Rainbow Gathering in Alabama in '93, I was naked when a guy's snake named Snakezilla coiled over me and a cop asked if he could take my picture. Where else would I be able to walk up to a cop wearing nothing but a snake?

Magical Mystery Exhibit at Henry Ford
It's not authorized but since Paul's making me cry by skipping my major city in my state in favor of that bland one, I'm going to this. the Henry Ford is always a good time for a geek like me (and they've got the Weiner mobile too) http://www.theoaklandpress.com/arts-and-entertainment/20160424/magical-history-tour-brings-the-beatles-retrospective-to-the-henry-ford When the Exhibits Development Group (EDG) started planning "The Magical History Tour: A Beatles Memorabilia Exhibition" a few years back, they contacted the Beatles via Apple Corps Ltd. management company. Authorization was not forthcoming.

I am so upset about this, I am crying. (Granted, I just had a parent go through major surgery and I can barely cope with it) Why would Paul play west Michigan? He must hate me
Why is this such a problem? Do you live in east Michigan?
Yep. I live in Detroit. Oh, it is such a tease. BLand Rapids is a nothing city. When I visited there, they rolled up the sidewalks at night

The pre-sale code seems to be everywhere, including the announcement of when ticket sales are, and right on Paul's website. Is there a different pre-sale code for fan club members that I'm not finding?
What? Fan club members get a special pre sale code? (sarcasm. this is something we wanted and never got before the club went bye bye )

PETA protestor at Biker Rally
The protestors usually speak out against fur, throwing red paint at old ladies and rich broads because they physcially are bad at fighting back Here's why they rarely speak out against leather: https://www.facebook.com/TheDrunkenNorthernMonkey/photos/a.535596859834344.1073741828.535591999834830/1071874809539877/?type=3&theater

Beatles Covers by Spanish Artist
I know this is the nether regions of this board. I recently discovered this artist on Facebook. He's Spanish and does many covers of Paul and Beatles songs. This one of No More Lonely Nights made me feel very good:

RE: Beatle Fiction Stories
True, Nancy. I for one, enjoy stories about the psychedelic era by people who actually understand it and have experienced it. Many might find that 'adult' even though it's not sexual or anything but I've read some cute stories that was just wit and banter, which was one of the things that first attracted me to the Beatles

Kestrel:
Only Paul could get away with having chickens in his videos?
I didn't even notice the chicken--too busy looking at how hot Paul was then!!
Same with me. That's the Paul I fell in love with

RE: The Original Paul McCartney Picture Thread
[quote="oobu24"]Beatle Boots? haha OMG...those are Roots. Would I have loved to have seen this when I was 12. That's when I first discovered Roots. I have cerebral palsey and am crippled. My parents tried a few things to help me (I refused surgery) including physical therepy (which is what worked), braces wrapped on my body and special shoes. Those special shoes came from Roots which also make clothes for special needs. things that fit over prostetics and braces and things like that. I thought that was all they did, and being 'handicapped' I was very embarrassed to drive into that upper class city Birmingham and be seen going in there while my classmates stared at me since they were always around that place. Watching me and the other kids with physical challenges trying on shoes and stumbling as we learned to walk in them. I didn't even know they were more known for athletic clothing until decades later. Boy, would I have loved to have seen this picture of Paul back then. It would have lifted my broken spirit

Audley's Piano:
Will he be painting his face like David used to?
I'd pay money to see that. Are you listening, Kanye?

RE: Kanye West to record Bowie tribute album
He's hardly the innovator that Bowie is. Bowie didn't just change music or the way we dressed. He showed alternate lifestyles. Not just andorogynous and bisexual and open marriages, though he did show us all those. He also showed us they could be presented with humor in his songs. (Many of his Ziggy songs are very funny) Kanye does not do this in any way shape or form. He does not expand the culture. I remember when a nasty person tried to describe my triad to someone in an attempt to slander me. The person understood about these types of relationships and replied, "Oh, it's a Bowie thing" which helped put it into a context he could comprehend. I always loved that phrase and have used it to describe my relationship since. "It's a Bowie thing"
