RE: Some Vegetarian Food Isn't
OH and BTW, Gelatin is good for you. It helps your hair grow and your skin and keeps your joints from wearing away. There are veggie options though like MSM and Silica for hair and joint health

Audley's Piano:
Yeah, I would ignore the hype, but it does offer some things to look out for. It's like gummy fruits, gummy worms and bears. They are often made with gelatin. So if interested, I would shop for gummy bears and worms made with Kosher Gelatin. Kosher gelatin doesn't use animal by-products and is made from plant sources.
Just FYI...Kosher Gelatin is Beef. Not veggie unless it states it is veggie. Not an expert on Jewish dietary laws, but I sell a lot of stuff with gelatin in it and have people looking for 'pork free' options so I learned to read Kosher labels a bit

RE: MEAT EATERS-SHAME ON YOU
Susy, just add more veggies and plant foods to your diet. Eat it along with the meat and cut the meat portions over time. You may not give it up totally then but you eat less and more healthy things that Americans don't eat enough of

RE: The Original Paul McCartney Picture Thread
oobu24:
What will I do? I wonder how much Paul knows about Detroit culture. When he was at his last concert here, he asked how many in the audience were from Detroit and how many were from just outside of Detroit It's a city with a very distinct line between city and suburbs. but then, a casual look into the city's culture would let anyone know that. I will admit I was a bit impressed there

Not sure if this will work unless you can log into FB. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=464393240434242
Yeah, I could see it. but watch out One of the admins in that group is a horrible Paul hater and loves posting nasty things to them. I left it due to him. I heard he died though. Not sure if that was just a rumor. So if you love Paul, don't read the comments in that group.

Why does this thread even exist?
Because some of us enjoy it.
Even if it does violate one of the Admin's prime directives? re: Peace In The Neighbourhood: Post Content and Privacy Please respect Paul's privacy and that of his family.
but this thread doesn't violate that. For as long as it's been going on , if it did, the admins would have already dealt with it in an appropriate manner. The pictures of Nancy are taken from public appearances. (Yes, there has been issues with pap photos of them on vacation). Her clothing choices, many of which are interesting to those interested in such things, are often discussed and that is a common thing to see in magazines. Locations, addresses, itineraries are not allowed and never discussed.

RE: Detroit, MI - Joe Louis Arena - October 21, 2015 - ARCHIVE
I also thought, for one of the encores, Paul kept moving his mouth like he really needed a drink of water that time. I also liked how the guitar wrangler and him had that comic standoff about him going back on stage to finish the show. that was cute.

I've got to write my detailed review but that won't be until late tonight. Did anyone catch the Band going into Carry That Weight too soon but recovered quickly into the next line of Golden Slumbers? That's when you know this is 100 percent live; which is great!
I noticed it but thought it was intentional.

RE: Detroit, MI - Joe Louis Arena - October 21, 2015 - ARCHIVE
Had a fun time just getting there. Had only one thing in my bag. a water bottle. It wasn't allowed and I wasn't that upset to lose it. the guard asked about my medicine bag. I told him he could look but he seemed scared of it and asked me what it was. I told him, "New Age hippie sh**" He laughed and said since it didn't set off the alarms, it was okay. While in the restroom, there was an older woman serving as an attendant who kept talking and laughing with the ladies. She said to me, "ooh, girl, why'd Paul single you out?" "What?" (I hadn't even seen Paul yet. This was preshow and how would he even know anything about where I am right now anyway? I doubt I was on his mind in any form. "He made kissy noises on his hand and touched the screen at you. He gonna pick you out in that crowd, you know" What? Don't believe her. I think she only said that because she liked my wild shirt I had on. It was a fun random strange encounter though Oh, and the set list? Who else was impressed?

If anyone got the time when Paul grabbed the guitar with the Red Wings sticker to when he began Yesterday on video or happens upon a video, would you please let me know? I'm on the lookout as well.
a friend of mine did. He's not on these boards and I'll ask and see if he can post it online somewhere

OH, and I want to thank this board because without you guys, especially Triplets, I wouldn't have been able to have this good time I had. You guys guided me in getting tickets and being a member of this website helped me get that special presale without making me late for work and fired (My boss was so cracking down on that and wouldn't have understood since it wouldn't have been the first time he heard concert tickets as an excuse) thank you everybody

Just got home tired and happy. Best feelings I've ever felt in my life. No, he didn't sing the songs I hoped to hear but who cares? It was awesome. He did that song he worked with Kanye and and at first, I was like, WTF? He's still promoting that *censored* but then I snarkily joked, "I guess it was because his mic was shut off at the grammies and then it was awesome. I liked his solo take on it and I'm glad he included it in the setlist. I cried during Let it Be though I've seen him play it live three times now and on several DVDs. Some guy tried to film me crying. and the light show and that light up stage...amazing. The Stage during here Today....awesome more tomorrow when I'm coherent
