So now I'm beginning to feel I may have been ripped off. Tickets came by PDF from Stub Hub, Sect. A, Row 5, sets 3 & 4. also says ZHOT2 which leads me to believe they are part of the sound check package as someone else pointed out. I've already contacted Stub Hub to verify with seller but of course they're closed now. Is it possible someone could be using the sound check but selling the seats to the concert? I do not want to drive all that way to be denied entry and Ive sold my other tickets. Already chatted with Stub Hub earlier via Live Chat and they assured me this seller was reputable. Of course they have a 'guarantee' but I would be screwed out of the concert. HELP!
For the sound check packages that I have been to they want the name of the original purchaser with ID for entrance. Then your tickets are scanned. Did stubhub advertise these tickets as a sound check package? Look at the price on the ticket that should indicate if it was purchased as part of a package or just the ticket.
Soundcheck packages are not supposed to be resold, because, as forget64 says, original purchaser has to present an ID to be admitted. It's possible that those are not soundcheck tickets, altho that "Hot" code does seem like they might be. Someone here who has Hot Sound tickets for St. Louis can confirm if that code is on their tickets. It's possible that the StubHub seller bought a soundcheck package and decided to sell the tickets only. Or that the seller is clueless about how the soundcheck packages work. But as a second-hand buyer, you won't be allowed into the soundcheck. The tickets might be usable to get into just the concert itself, tho. when you enter the arena, they should scan just like a regular face value ticket, unless there is another set out there somewhere--in which case, yes you would definitely have been scammed. I had to return some tickets to StubHub once (the tickets sent to me were NOT the tickets that were advertised for sale; I think the seller had dyslexia because they had the wrong section number). They were very helpful over the telephone. So I hope you can get things sorted out so that you have a good seat to see Paul!
