Yes guys!

Always liked 'Baby in Black' from BFS. could still work in a live show.

OK, here's one that I doubt any of you here like but me. In fact, I'm willing to bet many of you downright hate this song: All You Horse Riders. Not only is this a great dance track, it's absolutely hysterical. I think it should have been a big hit at discos for gay cowboys.

Thats a great song. I like "We all stand Together", and "Mull Of Kintyre".
Yes to Mull Of Kintyre. As for We All Stand Together, um.................thankfully it was never released as a single here in the US.

This one is definitely a hot mess, , but I have a friend who is a rodeo rider who happens to be gay, and if I still had his e-mail, I would SO send that song to him, as I think he would love it...he's a total dance club guy.

At first, I hated "Temporary Secretary," but it is actually very catchy (even if its in an annoying way) and now, after several listenings, I can honestly say I like it...

I think one of Paul's most under appreciated songs is Scared. Beautiful melody, an economic but sincere lyric and a spot on emotional performance. I personally think its one of the best songs Paul has written in the last fifty years. And yet its almost tagged onto the ES album as an after thought. Its not that fans don't love it though, its more that many are not really aware of it.

I love the whole Rushes album, it’s really great

The Other Me
Many Paul haters jumped on the "dustbin lid" line in the beginning of this song as being a terrible lyric. Basically it is just a British slang word. But people didn't look at the rest of the lyrics which are great and extremely personal. I always loved this song, Paul's soul-like singing and George Martin's overall great production. A really underrated song imo on a much maligned album. I love "The Other Me" and the title cut "Pipes of Peace" on this album. Another example of the fact that even on somewhat weaker albums Paul usually has 2 or 3 or great hidden gems. "Keep Under Cover" isn't too shabby either.

Great list Yankeefan. And "Summer of 59" didn't make it on any Paul album.

Its unfortunate that Paul chose to use cockney rhyming slang out of context. Had Paul been a cockney or had he used other examples of slang throughout the song, then it might have worked, but as it is, 'dustbin lid' just stands out like a sore thumb. Still a nice song though. I have always thought that Tug of War should have been held back another year, remove the collaborations (with Stevie Wonder & Carl Perkins) and replaced them with songs like Pipes Of Peace, The Other Me, Keep Under Cover & Through Our Love. Despite the clumsy title, Through Our Love is another really nice song from Paul that perhaps has never gained the popularity that it deserves?

Kestrel...I like everyone of the 4 Pipes of Peace tracks you mentioned.
Speaking of Tug of War, the track I disliked by far the most was "What's That You"re Doing" the other Paul and Stevie joint song. It was really a Stevie Wonder song. I'll always remember loving, loving the 1st 3 tracks on the album... Tug of War (title track), Take It Away, and Somebody Who Cares. Unfortunately, the 4th song immediately took all the air out of the great start of the album for me. As much as I love Stevie Wonder and as much as I tried, I could never like this song. It was way too long (over 6 minutes long) jam song that was terribly repetitious. I remmeber the guys from "Take It Away" (the Paul McCartney Solo Podcast) saying the same thing..."What's That You're Doing" was the worse song on Tug of War. Fortunately, the album followed that song with tracks like Here Today, Ballroom Dancing , The Pound Is Sinking and Wanderlust thus making it one of my favorite Paul Solo Albums.

I get the impression that "What's That You're Doing" was more fun for Paul to make than it is for fans to listen to. "Somebody Who Cares' (like "Love In Song") is another classic Macca song that gets unfairly overlooked.

Great choice Susy. Always thought that Lindiana was one of Paul's best unreleased songs. Hopefully, it will be included on a futurre and updated Paul compilation package. So many songs that could be included by Decade that are not on his other Compilation CD sets.

It seems there are a number of these songs that aren't on Compilation CD sets. Is there one place where these are all listed? Every once in a while I'm finding songs I've not heard of...

On just a quick check of 6 songs I found 4 missing songs. Paul had written songs and there are some songs that he has sung on that should be on a list in my opinion. India is not on there, If I Take You Home he wrote and gave to Diana Krall and she recorded it, My Soul by Nitnan Sawheny, Feel the Pain with George Michael. If I could find this many in a short period of time, there must be quite a few more!
