How about playing those 4 songs (New, Queenie Eye, Save Us, Everybody Out There) at every concert, and rotating the other songs from the new album throughout the tour, as a fifth song?
-
I don't have soundcheck, but I'll be there for the limo watch. Gonna drive into the city early to beat some traffic. I'll be outside checking the board, so somebody keep track of the soundcheck set!

How about a fifth & a sixth. I'd love to hear them all!

Hey, whats the name of this venue and what does it look like. Inside, right!!!
-
^^United Center & yes, it's indoors.
-
What time do people think for the limo? I was going to try it, but I'm working tomorrow and am not sure what time I can get there. The United Center is where the Bull and Blackhawks play. If you're visiting, you should go over to the east side and see the Michael Jordan statue.

Any idea where lucy has been hidding in Chicago? Or any of her friends? Pm me.

Ah...the night before! Gonna try and get some sleep! When I wake up...shower, breakfast, then headin' into the city. See ya there!
-
waiting my buddy to sneak out of work then making the 250 mile trek to the windy city. Hope to have some time before the show to check out the sites. Of course there is the small matter of securing tickets that has to be taken care of haha

Heads up from Pittsburgh concert-goer: Paul didn't get to the venue until 6:15. Now, that's a little later than usual....but I'd expect him between 5:30 and 6.

I'm here! In the Magnificent Mile and wonder, with all the traffic out here, what time to leave the hotel to get to United Center for sound check. One person said 3 hours before! Another said One. I'm taking a cab. Chicago experts: what do you suggest? And...how are you all getting back to your hotels? I heard it's impossible to find a cab after shows there. Woo woo!
-
Hi, I'm here in the Mag. Mile and wonder what time we should leave the hotel for sound check. One person said that with Chi traffic, it can take 3 HOURS! Another said to give ourselves 30-45 minutes. What do you Chicago experts suggest? Thanks! See you soon!

** Who's going to sound check at United Center? **

We are ready! Got our signs made...I can make appreciate signs too if you want. I will have neon green signs. Wearing my vintage I love Paul flashing pin ! Michelle

if you are planning to be at the SC at 4 or so, you could leave your hotel at 3:30. There won't be that much traffic since it is long before the concert. You could leave an hour before, but you'll likely find yourself waiting around before the doors open. But not 3 hours!! There are usually buses after shows that go directly to Michigan Ave. Can't remember the fare...$2?
-
Thanks for the info, Jim! I'm naive about bus transportation here: do you give them cash or do you have to buy a pass?

I think buses still take dollar bills (drivers don't give change). But check with hotel concierge to make sure
