They were mentioned twice tonight, first on Jeopardy (7/9/24)

In 1963 it was said that this phenomenon “Sets girls screaming & boys to cultivate mushroom-style hair”
What is Beatlemania? (She got it)On Beat Shazam 7/9/24, they had an entire category devoted to them!
For $4000 each:- Can’t Buy Me Love (both teams got it)
- Get Back (1 team missed it)
- A Hard Day’s Night (1 team missed it)
For $8000: - Come Together (1 team missed it)
And get this - the same team of 2 women missed the 3 answers against 2 Jesuit priests!!

On SEAL TEAM yesterday, the new guy, Drew, asks to take overwatch solo, and the leader of the team, Jason, puts Ray and Drew on overwatch. Sonny says “What?! Ringo goes solo here and we also lose Paul?”

On “Real Time With Bill Maher” Friday night during one of the bits he does, he first listed true headlines about JFK, Jr. Then he goes on to list the joke ones: RFK, Jr. claims Beatles’ “Revolution 9” contains backward message “vaccines cause autism.”

On Name That Tune 8/26/24, during the “bid a note” section, the clue was: This ‘80s duet is more than black & white.
(I immediately knew the answer!)This white guy was up against this black woman and he let her name it in 7 notes! Of course she got it right - Ebony & Ivory by Paul McCartney & Stevie Wonder!
-
From "Mad Men," Season 4, Episode 10 - Sally Draper finds out she's going to see The Beatles at Shea Stadium
-
@ladyleslie That was great! I was about the same age as Sally then and would have screamed just like she did!
-
Beat Shazam 8/27/24
The song was “Got My Mind Set On You” by George Harrison and only 1 out of the 3 teams got it correct. -
On Entertainment Tonight 8/2/24, the whole show was about George Clooney. They had an old interview with Ryan Gosling who was in the movie The Ides Of March with George. Ryan said “It was like hanging out with The Beatles! Everyone was just lining the streets to see George!”
