Exhausted the market with the same type of show, I'm afraid. Fairly recently alone Outside Lands, Dodger Stadium, Candlestick Park, San Diego as well. Plus the Desert Trip thing now.
Was he here in Los Angeles during his last tour? How much longer do you think it'll be before he comes back?
Yes, 2013 (festival) and 2014 (huge high-profile stadium gig) even. And I'm afraid I have no clue, his scheme is pretty unpredictable these days.

Orlando and help them feel better, Orlando, please and help them, as you did in Paris

Yeah, Paul, come to Estonia. In 74 years Paul have not been to Estonia. People are talking about missing Paul but i have not seen him and the nearest concert is 600-700 miles away. So Paul, if you see this think about it. Max, 15 years old.

Atlanta! You haven't been here since Oct. 15, 2014!

California is a very large state. Just because he does several venues in the state within a couple of years does not mean we are oversaturated. He does east coast venues much closer in proximity than the cities he has performed in California. Example: Philadelphia & Hershey. Distance between Dodger Stadium & Candlestick Park is 375 miles, a more than 6 hour drive. You can get to several venues on the east coast in that time frame. Just a suggestion....DENVER.

I've travelled enough in California to understand that. You gotta agree the current set-up of the live show has run its course, and he's going to different markets to be able to play the same show for a different crowd. He has done everything in California the last few years, all the high-profile gigs, the festivals, the venues with a connection to the past, there's not much left. Another gig in San Francisco, LA? It won't create a buzz any more with this show. He understands that as well, it's the reason he didn't tour mega market New York in 3,5 years now. In Europe we are a bit more critical and less forgiving and I can't see him coming back for that reason after this year. But now even at the East Coast US the ticket sales are already dropping, and the same would happen now if he would keep putting on the same show in the same markets elsewhere.

He waited 11 years before coming back to Portland, so you never know...

Right, and even in the NYC show was in NJ (NYC metro area, but still Jersey )

I'm still hoping for some UK dates this tour, but not looking likely now. To those of you au fait with his chaotic touring schedules, do you think he'll skip the UK altogether? Has he ever done that before?

kathy64:
TAMPA TAMPA TAMPA Please and thank you!!
I do support this because Tampa is the only city in our great state where I HAVE NOT seen Paul (should have gone in '05 when I actually LIVED in Tampa, gosh darnit, but I was a poor college student at the time). Kathy, I think I was supposed to meet up with you before the Orlando show, but I think I missed you guys. So I could see you in Tampa!

Paul has skipped the UK on a number of occasions and I fear that time has run out for any 2016 dates. Fingers crossed he gets his finger out in 2017 and plays less US dates (where he always seems to play - probably because Americans pay more to see him in larger arenas) and more UK dates. Of course when I say "UK", I do actually mean "English" as it's highly unlikely he'll play in Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland.

Paul please come to LA!!!! Please!!! My cousin said he would take me to see you I now have some hope!!!!
-
Brighton Centre! a nice venue right on the coast.
-
Winston-Salem, N.C. is a pretty big town and has a number of sizable cities surrounding it, also in the part of Virginia that's near by, many would flock to Winston for the show I don't think he's played Winston Salem in a long time. Loads of music lovers in the South

Baltimore first. He hasn't played there since 1964 with the Beatles. We've waited long enough
-
Glasgow, SSE Hydro It's a great venue & Paul will sell that venue out. He's always been welcomed to Scotland & his last Glasgow gig was very good

time for Austin, Houston, and/or San Antonio? It's been nearly four years for Austin, 4 1/2 for Houston, and technically 24 years for San Antonio besides the Tobin Center gig that I would barely count because of the limited seating
