2018 Tours?
-
Does any body know yet if Paul will be touring in 2018? If so, will there be any Beatle songs in the line-up? I would love to go this year, but I'm waiting on money for a settlement, hoping I can buy some tickets in 2018..if he will be touring.

Yes.

Of course.

I would assume more touring as it looks like we will see the new studio album in 2018 as well. I'm sure if he tours, there will be Beatles songs in the set.....sadly!! I'd like to see one tour all solo and wings material. Stop being apologetic for a great solo catalog!! He seems to be the only one not convinced that his solo catalog is great!

Is this studio album the one we've been hearing about or a new one? Because this current one's been delayed so long, I wouldn't be surprised.

There's probably not going to be any rumors about 2018 for long time.

50th Anniversary of The White Album!

Hope Paul and Ringo will again give concerts in North Carolina next year--the new Democrat governor Roy Cooper among others were instrumental in ousting the nefarious transgender "bathroom law," I believe, in the state. Hope they tour in N.C. and S.C. I will hustle my hiney to get to both their shows--recently realized I was a fool not to catch any of Starr's concerts in the past, he's sure to provide a rousing great time, a big party time, like Paul and band
-
In the first two years of the "Out There Tour", Paul performed 64 shows. During the same time period, we'll have 79 "One On One" shows. I think the current tour is done by the end of the year. With the new album coming in 2018, we need to change things a little bit. The setlist is so predictable.

Hope so! I do wonder if he skipped Texas due to everything that was going down this summer with SB4 and the bathroom bill here and all that and our loonies in charge. Thinking maybe San Antonio, Houston, New Orleans, Memphis, Lexington, Charlotte, Charleston, etc next year... maybe an ACL fest appearance finally

The Milwaukee Bucks have announced Maroon 5 to play the brand new arena opening in Milwaukee next Fall...However, they added the teaser that Maroon 5 will not be the first act to open the arena and that a HUGE MEGA STAR will be announced late this year or early next year to open the venue. Given Paul's propensity for opening new venues lately (Little Caesars, Golden 1...) could it be...?!?!?!?

He didn't actually open Little Caesars, Kid Rock did, with 6 shows. But I do agree, he does love playing those new arenas. Paul's last Milwaukee show was Summerfest in 2016.

Hoping to see Paul in 2018....my Paul clock is ticking. 1st choice - anywhere in California. 2nd choice - Denver

History repeats itself year after year, rumors say that Mccartney will give a concert at the Summer Festival in Lucca (Italy) in 2018, along with an unlikely meeting of Pink Floyd to give a unique concert on the walls of the city of Lucca. The first is more credible, since there are many possibilities of a European tour for Paul in spring ... summer in Europe / United Kingdom ... but the meeting is of Pink Floyd ... it is very doubtful

I'm curious - would that be Pink Floyd complete with Syd Barrett and Rick Wright, or just old pals David Gilmour and Roger Waters with Nick Mason?

Pink Floyd will never reform according to David Gilmour after The Endless River came out in 2014. He and Roger Waters just don't work well together. Though we may see some more Deluxe editions of their classic albums.

While it is true they don't work well together, they have performed together several times in recent years and each continues to record and tour their solo material. While it's safe to rule out recording any new material together- and certainly under the Pink Floyd name - I wouldn't rule out a concert with the three if the situation was enticing and convenient enough for them. And if that's the case, Paul becomes much more plausible (and he wasn't particularly implausible to begin with lol)

No signs of Paul (or the Floyd ) yet, but Ringo will appear in Lucca on July 8 (the day after his 78th birthday).

new boards - yay! I mentioned that Milwaukee rumour to family members that live there, so if they hear anything, they will let me know. I have no other news or rumours to report.
