Having moved to Florida 2 years ago, I was unable to attend the Show. I had previously attended all of Paul's Philly shows since the 1989 - Flowers in the Dirt tour. Sounds like Paul "delivered" as usual and I am thrilled that he put on a great show for all of you. I also read the Philly.com review of the show. Unfortunately, it was by Dan Deluca again. Like the last Paul Philly show 5 years ago, Mr. Deluca was full of "left handed" complements about Sir Paul. He is obviously from the "John was the only genius camp". He used "We Can Work It Out" as the main example of why Paul mainly needed John's input to create the famous "sweet and sour" mix to the Lennon/McCartney songbook. I just posted a comment to his review explaining that he was right about "We can Work it Out" but that after Rubber Soul almost all of Macca's Lennon-McCartney songs were written solely by Paul. I included many of the Beatle songs from Sunday's setlist as examples. Maybe someone can post Mr. Deluca's review. This is the problem with reviewers. People who are just casual Beatle fans think that what he writes is gospel. I believe that this is the kind of thing that sparked Paul to write the last part of "Early Days". I'm not putting John down here in any way. I just don't like it when a review distorts the facts.

Hi everyone! I usually don't post here but only read. This is why I had to reactivate my account so ... Here I am again. (please, be patient as English isn't my first language!) I was lucky enough to attend Philly last Sunday with my husband (Sound check and show). Of course the show was fantastic. We were 5th row sec 2. Not our first concert but this time around we really got to experience how Paul (and the band) fed his energy from the audience. It was a real high to see him getting more and more into the music as the audience cheered danced and sang along! I think he enjoyed seeing familiar fans faces (and signs) and playing along with them. Philly was packed with ?famous? fans. Great experience! As usually, he ended with ? See you next time? ? ?who am I to disagree??

Hey, were you in the group of people who cheered when Paul asked who was here from outside the U.S.? I was in row 6, right behind a young couple who seemed to know a few enthusiastic people in front of them in row 4 also. Glad you made it to the soundcheck!

It was definitely nice to be welcomed by Paul on behalf of the board of tourism ... Paul's music knows no boundaries!

Who bought the Bayonets CD that was being sold at the Philadelphia concert? Was it signed?

Just got back from Paul's amazing show in Philly last night. My son and I had an unbelievable time!! Highlights were hearing Alligator and Miss Ann for the first time in soundcheck, as well as Another Girl, Hope For The Future and of course Temporary Secretary during the show (something about that song when it's live!!) Anita, REALLY great seeing you and your (not so small anymore) children again...it's been a while! Always nice to see youngsters so thrilled to see Paul!!! Hope to see you guys soon at another Paul show!! Rick, Phil. Derrick, Bob, and all the other Fans On The Run...what an AMAZING Father's Day catching up with all of you...safe travels the rest of the tour!! One final note...the Philly crowd was over the top...something Paul mentioned several times during the evening! Tom and James
I was a great Fathers Day, always good to see you, your son and the rest of the crew! Philly crowd did seem to have a little extra

God! What a day in the life of me & my son. We have been plugging the Wells Fargo site for weeks for a really good seat. On literally my LAST TRY at 150 PM on day of concert up popped 13th row side of stage. BOOM I bit. I immediately called a local bus company that I knew was having a bus go down with seat available & secured 2 seats for me & my son & told them that we'd be there in 15 minutes ( I had no way of driving down that day which is normally 2 1/4 hrs away). We got to the bus & 5 minutes later we were on our way to Philly. The rest was even magical. Paul with my son (third time ) is beyond Magical. Paul sounded better than usual. How he does a nearly 3 hr. set is beyond imaginable. Highlights for me HOPE FOR THE FUTURE, 1985, Temporary Secretary ( only because I'm fanatical for hearing something that Paul or any artist has never played from their back catalog) & swaying & singing to HEY JUDE with my son. Here's to another 73 years Paul. You are NEVER over hyped. Your simply THE BEST.. pEACE.
