Perhaps Paul should start revamping his old solo artwork as well:

I just wanted to say while I was over at the supermarket today and waiting in line, what song do you think I heard? Yep, "New". The funny thing was, you know the part where Paul sings "Woo, ooh ooh"? Well a lady behind me starting doing that as well! I'd say that Paul has a hit here.

For a tune by an old guy that doesn't really sound like much of what's on the radio these days, "New" is off to a very solid start. Cross your fingers. But I thought from the instant I heard it that it was a brilliant choice for a single -- not something that's always been true for Paul.

I keep waiting for that experience but it hasn't happened yet. Guess I'm shopping/hanging out in the wrong stores/markets and listening to the wrong stations or maybe the right ones but at the wrong time. I love the "shared" experience of hearing a song and "receiving" good feedback. (Wasn't there a song about being in the right place but it must have been the wrong time...or something like that? )

OK, Bruce, now it's a single! http://www.paulmccartney.com/news-blogs/news/27635-cloudy-with-a-chance-of-meatballs-2-gets-new-music-from-paul This could indeed have a huge impact on sales of the song. I still think there'll be another single, though. Surely Paul won't hinge his big comeback entirely on an animated movie?
-
I notice there isn't a music store on the website any more. Does anyone know if there will be hi-res downloads available?
-
-
Can't wait to see it!!

He has described "don't look at me" in this song as sort of "I don't have an explanation for why things are working out so well right now." (Your problem with videos could have something to do with your Adobe Flash Player settings, but I'm not really knowledgeable on PC troubleshooting.)
I wondered about that line too, and after reading your comment, I can understand it better. Thanks for the insight

I am excited for this new album. I`m old-school, I can`t wait for the Tuesday to come and pick up the CD at the store.

I found a recreated backing track on a karaoke website. It's pretty good! If the backing track companies have already made this, then it's gotta be another good sign! I think other than "My Valentine", this is the only new McCartney original backing track to be produced since "Dance Tonight". And nowadays, the larger karaoke companies tend to only make what's popular and/or heavily requested/successful.

I'll be there too! Unless Paul offers something special from the main site... ops:

I don't know, I'm still keeping a lookout for the most economical deal. What I'm hearing, from around the world, is that there are several different versions of this album, from the regular 12-track version to versions with 13, 14, 15, and even 16 different tracks

If they are counting on presales, I think there are a number of us, who won't bite for the presale because we want the ultimate deluxe version. All the tracks! Quite a few of us were burnt with "Kisses on the Bottom" where we ordered the Deluxe version, then found Target was selling an Exclusive Deluxe version. C'mon, don't do that to us. Put out one Deluxe with everything! Podgie (the exclusive deluxe) Monkey
