Wondering what the Politics of Love sounded like. Off the subject, didn't Paul get together with Lady Gaga? Has anything come of that?
Yes, 'High in the Clouds': https://www.theguardian.com/music/2015/may/21/paul-mccartney-lady-gaga-high-clouds-film-soundtrack

Yeah, what happened to that project?
Went the way of the proposed full length Rupert film, the Bruce McMouse project, the Fireman concert, the intention to perform NEW in it's entirety...etc, etc, etc. ....or it's on the backburner.

The HP project, the Preminum Membership website... But nah, these projects take time, this will come to fruition according to their plans (which we don't know).

I doubt Paul has anything to do with the release of the movie. He wrote the songs and will probably get a producer credit, but he didn't write the script or direct the movie. It's not really a good sign that it keeps getting pushed back, though.

Tropic Island Hum seemingly took forever too.

Exactly, he probably did his part, and that's it. Is it even being pushed back though? I never heard of any release date.

That's the problem with some of Paul's projects. They either stay unfinished or take a long time to get released.

I don't know, it feels like forever ago that the film project was first announced. I know the original director backed out and was replaced. Last summer there was an article mentioning that production company would show some kind of sizzle reel at a festival in November. What happened with that? Now it's all quiet. http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/paul-mccartney-pens-seven-or-eight-new-songs-for-animated-film-20150520

Or he has far too many things on the go for his own good. Rather than excel at one project at a time he goes "average" at many.

'Jack of all trades, master of none' in other words?

Yep! Too many fingers in different pies.

You guys are a bit harsh, like he said after the Broadstreet fiasco "we haven't done too bad so far"

I would say he's mastered at least one "trade".

For what it's worth, in the latest Q magazine Paul says he thinks it's time to make another Fireman album.
-
I'd like to see Paul stop touring and concentrate on the studio projects if he isn't ready to retire all together

I say to Paul, "Don't think! ... DO!!!"
