Macca gets a bad rap from many 'cause of his brief Olympics stint? That's a load of Paul bashin' bull crap 'cause I saw the first part of the closing Olympics ceremony featuring Brit music, "Our House" and that one by Blur "Park Life" or something like that, and both those songs are quite bland and ordinary and sort of "nothing" and Paul music including his Beatle songs are so VERY superior to such mediocrities as these--and yet Paul is the one battered for the Olympics thing--what's wrong with this picture??? A lot. Then they had Annie Lennox singing something and that was better than the start, and a snippet from a David Bowie number which was too but these too vastly pale in comparison with Paul McCartney songs. So I don't want to hear another word or read anything else about this, I've gotten it right for once and for all--really !!!
Wait a second, Parklife by Blur is far from ordinary. The whole Parklife album is far from that. That's all I wanted to say

Backup singers are overrated. He needs a go-go dancer
I know some will surely distract atention... Denise Milani as backing vocals/dancer/all around entertainment... I wouldn't miss any Paul show http://dl.ziza.es/upload/image/072008/30/Denise_milani_62/denise_milani1.jpg

MaccaBeatles:
None of this matters, years from now history will prove Paul McCartney's place in music history along side John Lennon, Bob Dylan, Frank Sinatra, Brian Wilson, Ray Davies, Rodgers and Hart, Beethoven, Mozart, Elvis Presley, Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Bing Crosby, etc. These same people will be saying when Paul's no longer here how much they loved his music....
I totally agree with this, so sad that people start to talk about this issue. And we don't care how he sounds in the performances, hope he could come to China, he got so many fans here.

IF you can convince your fellow countrymen to start treating animals with decency and respect perhaps you will get perhaps your wish one day.

Your comment had me checking back how long ago it was that Paul stated he felt unable to perform in China due to the animal abuse issues. I'm rather gobsmacked to learn it was seven years ago now: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/4476664.stm It would be interesting to learn if the current situation has improved. I wonder if PETA has a more up-to-date assessment? Nothing to do with Paul's voice but an interesting aside. Martin
yes it does not feel as long as 7 years ago ..time seems to go by so quickly these day ...however paul felt VERY strongly on this issue at the time..i remember the interview clearly.

funny because for me the only 'bull shite' that i read is by sections who simply refuse to accept how bad paul was that night. for my money, paul and his team of incompetant assistants/family and band have set back his reputation to the dark ages....the likes of me and many others in the old UK have almost led a lifetime crucsade for acceptance with regards paul mccartney..however from this summer onwards our fight became more of a plight...for once the paul critics had every piece of ammunition they needed to scorn his legacy. so sad ,so sad sometimes i feel so sad
