I think the general assumption is that it will be London Town and Back to the Egg. My hope is that all of the post-Beatles studio albums, at least up to Flaming Pie, will get some sort of Archive release in one form or another.
I agree. Aside from the final two Wings albums Press To Play is another interesting one im looking forward too as well.

Can't wait for Back to the Egg

Press to Play would make a fantastic Archive release. Lots of interesting material from that general period could be included. I also hope Off the Ground gets a proper Archive release. It's not a universally popular album amongst fans but I have a real soft spot for it.

I agree as well. Press To Play could/should have a lot of cool stuff. There were tons of alternate single mixes, some of which are preferred by many to the album versions. Plus perhaps some early versions, without all of the "80s production". It would also be interesting to see if the remaining unreleased "Return To Pepperland" stuff that hasn't come out on subsequent releases might see the light, although that is debatable since most were slightly after the Press To Play sessions - but they won't have an archive edition home otherwise. You also have non-album singles Spies Like Us and Once Upon A Long Ago in the general timeframe, each with either multiple mixes or edits. As a completist, it would just be nice to round up those things in once place.
I would like to see a London Town/Back To The Egg combo hopefully late this year. Maybe in 2022 they could do a Press To Play/Broad Street combo, although I'm not sure what extra stuff could be on Broad Street, other than a couple remixes of the playout version of No More Lonely Nights, as well as perhaps the LP edits of the songs that were shortened from the CD versions. I would also like some version of the Russian album - there isn't a ton of extras to my knowledge, but there are a few, such as I Wanna Cry and It's Now Or Never.
Off The Ground could be a great set as well. I have the good fortune of owning all of the CD singles, so I selfishly wouldn't mind that one being pushed out a few years to fill in the above first.

Like you Hawkeye... I can't wait for the London Town/Back to the Egg Archive Release. Lots of extra stuff including all the "live" stuff.

Anyone heard any updates on anything?

Off the Ground la la la la la la is another one I hope to see after Back to the Egg. Brought back those dreams of flying around, from when I was a little girl. Love the video to OTG!

Any updates for future releases?

Hopefully in '22 if/when the Pandemic is over & evryone is back to work we'll get a release. Fingers crossed.

And I will be absolutely delighted if it is London Town and/or Back to the Egg.... incredibly underrated albums.

Well I was not online when the large boxed set “Wings over Europe 71-73” came out. This was a large boxed set which includes a Wild Life boxed set, A Red Rose Speedway set and then there’s a Wings over Europe boxed set of assorted CD’s and DVD’s I believe. They are all encased in Peter Marx type cardboard holder.
I’ve been able to get the Wild Life Box set and also the Red Rose Speedway boxed set. Has anyone seen the “Wings over Europe” part of that set for sale. I saw it once a couple of months ago and didn’t realise it was a rarity. It has a red binder that says Wings over Europe on the binder and there are pictures of Lindas eyes all over the cover. I would love to get this and also the Peter Marx type cardboard holder, although I was thinking I would try to make one.
If anyone on the board sees this Wings over Europe on sale, could you please let me know? I would really appreciate it!! Thanks!

I hope the next is the long awaited Londontown/Egg but something tells me it will be a deluxe edition of Tripping the Live Fantastic. There are a number of live songs that came out on CD singles (Mull of Kintyre. Lennon tribute-Strawberry Fields/Help/Give Peace a Chance, P.S. Love Me Do, Let Em In, etc.) that he could bundle up on a bonus disc with a few more soundcheck numbers that are unreleased.
As for history, that tour was his first in ten years, first since Wings and heavy on Beatles songs, a trend that continues with all his live shows and tours. Plus, it broke him out of what his critics would call the malaise of the 80s as the harsh ones went after him over Broad Street and then Press to Play. Maybe out Christmas this year?

I hope London Town and Back to the Egg are next, I'd love to have deluxe editions of both of those. Then after that Press to Play and Off the Ground because it would be great to have all of the original rock/pop studio albums up through Flaming Pie.

Me too McCall. I also have to say that after listening to a lot of Paul on Youtube over the last month or so (with my push for a better and up-to-date Compilation Package) I would especially love an Archive/Remaster of Press to Play. Youtube has a bunch of alternative mixes to the original album including "It's So True, Tough on a Tightrope, Write Away, Angry, Hanglide etc. and of course the great unreleased gem "Yvonnne's the One". Another unreleased track that would probably see the light of day is "Don't Break the Promise".
-
How about 1999's Run Devil Run ? I would love a remaster of that, especially in vinyl. Throw in the B-side "Fabulous" and some live performances and we're set.

With recent tour merchandise with the Back To The Egg and London Town coasters, and the rumored "With A LIttle Luck" performance i can clearly see London Town and Back To The Egg reissues getting annouced soon.

I heard the tour book, talks about the Archival Releases and said more to come this year. Possibly
