No idea when Orlando is happening. Wish I did. If it's July I'll be there. I'll also be really hot.

Got the PM.com email about 15 minutes ago for Boston. Says you will use your email address to get in for the pre-sale at 9 am. Also, Bob - do you know if he is playing anywhere relatively close to Atlanta besides Bonaroo or do I need to start planning for a longer trek? RamblinRed
Is Orlando relatively close to Atlanta?
About 7 hours. Close enough that we are already planning on likely going to that one (my 9 yr old is a huge LEGO fan so we can mix it with a trip to Legoland). Do we know if Orlando is going to be a May or July date? Would love closer, but that is doable. I'm just not going to go to Bonaroo and stay in the field for the weekend. RamblinRed
I think the rumor is the schedule zig zags all over the place, so it is really hard to speculate. It could even be June, a few days before Bonnaroo.

Looking forward to going back to Boston and seeing a show at Fenway. I lived there in 2004-2005 when the sox won the series.
That'll be just 2004, thank you - my beloved WHITE Sox won the Series in 2005!! Please don't take that away... This drip feed of news is agonizing - the Stones are finally announcing their tour dates tomorrow (4/3) a.m. and am hoping to bag tickets for Memorial Day weekend in Philly. Want/need to reserve Macca time & money for any NY date(s) asap - announcement, please!

Any rumblings re: California other than Outside Lands? Our summer calendar is filling up quickly...want to save room for Paul. He's the priority. Want to schedule a trip to Denver to visit our daughter...wonder if Paul may be there at some point in time? This waiting is making me jittery.

Meanwhile, the official Boston presale email only turned up in my inbox 25 minutes ago (despite tix being on sale for past 3 hours+?). That makes me *very* nervous re any NYC announcement....

In honor of Paul's itinerary:

Yeah, I was at the Atlanta show in Piedmont Park - that was also a hot day (in August), though the mid-show thunderstorm did cool it down and thin the crowd out some. Last saw him at Wrigley - that was a fun show - not quite as hot weather wise as we get down South. RamblinRed

Never, ever, count on getting one of those emails to let you know about the presale in advance. They are usually late. *Always* check these boards and the website home page.

Was hoping for another gig in the northeast to be announced today. Planned to take off tomorrow for ticket sales just in case.. Yesterday's announcement was 3 PM.. a little late in the day to plan for the next day when you work! Ugh! Getting very frustrated at this guessing game!

A friend in Ottawa said she heard about a date, July 15, for Toronto. Not sure of her source.
-
OK. I MISSED THE PRE-SALE. WHY? I WAS AT SCHOOL. MAYBE IF YOU COULD JUST ANNOUNCE WHEN THE PRESALE IS, I COULD "BE SICK." THANKS SOOOOO MUCH CAMP MCCARTNEY
-
King Macca...yeah, it sucks. But I've fretted over presales for every single McCartney concert I've been to, and it never did me a bit of good. Amex, website, live nation....they all cop out and are poorly organized. I've only ever gotten tickets on a general sale and they've been just fine. However...they need to get on the ball and announce some more shows!!!

Totally agree. It's really hard to plan when you have work/school. Hard to just drop everything at the last minute to be around for ticket sales!! All day I had anticipated in being off of work tomorrow.. Now it looks like there is no need with no announcements today.

i just got an email from Outside Lands (SF) saying that "eager beaver" tickets go on sale Thursday...but that is BEFORE they announce the lineup!

Well that's odd! Why would anyone buy them if they didn't know who's there? :

Maybe because they've heard Paul was appearing! I saw another festival did the same thing (sold before announcing lineup). :

They always release the cheapest festival tickets before revealing the lineup, all the big festivals do it. Most of the festival crowd go because it's Outside Lands and not because of anyone in particular on the lineup.

Well! Learn something new everyday...I don't get it personally. I guess people go every eyar for the atmosphere no matter who is there...not how I go about selecting concerts!
