That's really early for tickets to be on sale. 10 months ahead of time.
Sometimes that happens. I bought tickets to see Jeff Lynne's ELO back in Nov. 2017 and the concert was just a few weeks ago, so that's 9 months.
Yes, other artists NEED to do that since they don't sell out in just days or hours in some cases.

Whee! Wonder when he'll make it further West?
I'm pretty sure he will. Just a question of when... -
Is the American Express pre sale 1st?
-
Honestly, it's far ahead to 2019 but with Europe, Japan out of the way in 2018. I would suspect a full summer of US shows and probably South America before or after. Before anyone goes crazy....this is my speculation and not any sort of a hint

yes, along with the pm.com presale; password is on the news page. Tuesday Sept. 4th. Looks like regular onsale is Sept. 7th. Thankfully, Verified Fan seems to be gone this time around.

Very strange group of cities. Moline is very small isn't it? 50k or so? Nice to see he's finally getting back to NC. Kentucky hasn't been since 2014 either, different city this time.

I've got a feeling that the entire tour will be announced by the time he is on THE TONIGHT SHOW. Jimmy Fallon will say "Egypt Station" is out tomorrow and for tour dates go to PaulMcCartney.com. A little cross promotion there

I have an AMEX card. Is it better to go with that sale or the pm.com presale (which I would pay for using the AMEX card anyway!)
Anybody else have this dilemma?
ETA: Never mind. Since I am getting Gold VIP, it takes me to Ticketmaster site, just like those getting regular tickets. You just choose what you want.

Can you believe it !!??? He last played there nearly 18 years ago !!! And has chosen there for the first leg of his new tour, the very FIRST SHOW IN THE U.S. !!!!!!!! I told him, I told him we're not all racists in the South U.S.A. and so many of us have music in our blood !!! TRUTH !!!
and they're not exorbitant (tix price) 37.50 to 250.00 and this gal is gonna shell out bigger than nosebleed LOL
he is also gonna play in GREENVILLE S.C. dear God could it possibly be I get to go there and see him too

ooooooooooooh I just can't believe RALEIGH is the very first show in the U.S. of Paul's new Freshen Up tour, can you freaking believe that ???!!! Can you !!!?? He last played there nearly 18 years ago, so they'll be rarin' to lay their eyes and ears on this precious Beatle again !!! For Sure !!! And peeps from surrounding cities and from all over the U.S. will flock there to see him !! Oh and not just cause he's a Beatle...many love his post Fab music too, of course. I thought my karma's so bad lately, and then I see this news, something so big to look forward to, we all need that ! Big things to anticipate ! And I happen to have some extra bucks this month and I'm gonna shell out big (well, big for me, two hundred and fifty bucks, wish it could be the sound stage and all that, but hoping to get on the ground floor not many rows from the front and nobody tall best get in front of me !!! I'm only five and a half inch feet tall ! I wonder if I'll scream as loud and as frequently as I did when I saw his show in Charlotte July 2010, peeps behind told me to shut up, it was embarrassing...I couldn't help it ! I hope all the stars line up and fall in place so I get my tail there. I'm going come hades or high water !!I would have loved to see him in Columbia S.C. a couple years ago and planned to but then suffered a hellish vehicle mishap. Something happened and I couldn't get to Greensboro. But nothing's gonna hold me back this time Magic Macca man !!

What to do. What to do. Buy tickets THIS Tuesday and try for Lexington where my nephew lives but I'd have to fly there. Or, wait for more dates to see if anything closer is annonced. I'm actually flying to Louisville, KY this Wednesday to visit family there. Would people please share their thoughts about all this. Buy tickets 10 months in advance. Wait. Thanks.
You have to buy when they go on sale. Otherwise the scalpers will get them all and you will have to buy from a reseller. I know this from experience. Be online and ready to buy the SECOND they go on sale! (Unless you want to wait and see what other shows are announced -

OMG I just saw that Paul posted some U.S tour dates! I hope to heavens he adds L.A or San Diego anywhere in southern Califor nia! this gives me hope! Please Paul add LA!!! I want to see you!!!!!!! I will have to keep checking dates for L.A! Omg I just got myself all excited!!!!!
-
My friend in Nashville is getting tickets for Lexington, but hoping he doesn’t then announce Nashville (or Chicago where her mom lives)
It is going to actually be easier for me to drive 2 hours to Greenville rather than get to downtown Atlanta by car, then train!
Excited for you Susy! Hope you can get through - why calling and not online?
-
He folks, I know that it's a holiday weekend but don't go napping just quite yet!!!!

Wow...announcements almost a year in advance. Crazy!!
I will TRY to await patiently for news for the West Coast (California specifically) and possibly Denver so I could incorporate a visit to daughter.

I second that about California! I hope L.A gets added! I keep on checking everyday hoping it will be added! I have to see Paul! 2002 was years ago, last time I saw him and I really need to see him this time! I want to try to get a hot seat at least somewhere close.

Paris, France on November 28th ... finally !

After carrying on so like a giddy hyper- excited half-crazed harpy, I may have decided to just get a "nosebleed" ticket for Raleigh. I'm as poor as Job's house cat. On the other hand, this IS Macca; and also, seeing him might inspire me to write more of my own songs. He seems to serve as one of my muses, in a way, for my own would-be creative efforts. But if I go the nosebleed route, at least the stagecraft uses those ginormous tall big screens on each side, which focus on the big star, right? And I can get binoculars. I'll get kind of dizzy way up there, maybe, but I'll be dizzy with excitement anyway.
