Wednesday 31st October / Thursday 1st November - TOKYO DOME - confirmed
-
I hate to contribute to the set list bashing, but this set is really bad. The worse part is that most of the set is extremely boring. There’s plenty of songs that could be dropped for something else.
-
It also seems he dropped Michelle and I saw her standing there. I kinda hoped he would swap Michelle for some other cool song after the Canadian gigs
-
Here's a new thing...for Halloween/
-
I saw a video "Who Cares" from the Oct. 31 Japan Dome concert, and it's very enjoyable, the song sounds exciting and sophisticated (smiley face) and Paul looks smashing, I like him in those blue jeans and that cool jacket. His hair looks pretty.

Paul didnt sing yesterday tonight

Be careful, some board members might give you hard time about making comment about setlist in this thread instead of the "Setlist" thread - lol. I am surprised at setlist, McCartney has been in Japan a bunch recently so you would think he would mix it up more.

Looking at todays 2nd show in Tokyo i would be happy if this set is played in Paris at end of the month, plus 'Michelle' being added. Yes Paul could change it up more but have to be realistic.

From what little I've seen, the show they put on for Japan looks like a big one. Lots of fun for an extremely enthusiastic and thrilled audience. I think someone placed the entire concert on YouTube, and will go back and check. What songs were played? "Who Cares" was something new. He played there last year too, didn't he? They really love him there, but then, he gets the same avid, loving reception wherever he plays, which must be a recurring thrill and satisfaction for him as a musician and performer. You wonder how just five guys on a stage can create all that spectacular sound. Well, it's more guys now, with the terrific horn section

I couldn't agree with you more, you do have to be realistic. I'm sure you'll have a GREAT time in Paris. The shows in Canada were awesome!

I must say, I've been watching a bunch of clips on youtube of the performances so far in Japan and he sounded really good!! Really looking forward to the gig in Copenhagen. I hope I get to hear Flaming Pie and Coming Up during soundcheck!

Love this performance with the horn section, finally. I hope it'll stay in the set

If you check this video (at the 1-minute mark) you can argue that he did play "Back In Brazil" during the Japanese tour:
(just like you can argue that he played "The Back Seat Of My Car" last year in Mexico):
-
Here is "Got To Get You Into My Life" with horns. Has this video been shared?

I've been listening to a bootleg recording of the Nov. 1st show at Tokyo Dome. He sounds great and the band is on fire! Really love the horns too!
